Day by Day
Description
~ Ancient time setting~
Today, I met him.
He held my hand.
He told me his name, oh how gallantly he stands.
His hair pulled back and his armor glows behind him.
Then he left, there I stood all alone with only the hinges of his name.
Kim Jong Kook.
Today I met him again.
He protected me from those who point blades.
I stood behind him, covered by his structure, under his wing
He held my hand as we ran.
We fell into the river as we escaped.
I closed my eyes for a second,
My eyes became blurry, grasping for support and air
Then he kissed me.
Kim Jong Kook.
Today, I met him once again.
It's actually my wedding day.
I dressed in the best hanbok and tightly knit my hair.
I saw him and ran behind to surprise him.
Then there he was, holding onto another girl.
I ran back, locked myself in my room.
No it can't be.
He loves me, right?
He... He has to love me.
Why did he marry me then?
I must be mistaken.
I walked to through the ceremony as the silk covered my face, before bowing
There I faced him, the man of my dreams.
Kim Jong Kook.
Tonight is my wedding night.
I was nervous as I held onto my hanbok.
Fulfilling my duty to be a good wife and live with him, happily ever after.
But still he didn't come to our marital room at all.
He did not forget did he?
There it was, I heard the footsteps, his shadow.
He took off my hanbok, until I wore only the last white cloth around my body did he stop.
There was a different look in his eyes.
He excused himself and left me in bed all alone.
Curious, I tiptoe out to see him, was he as nervous as me?
There, I see him enter another room.
Through the edges, I saw them.
He hugged the same girl from before.
"I promise, I'll love you only."
Then they kissed and embraced.
My heart broke as I witness the scene before my eyes.
My now- husband is sleeping with another woman on my wedding night.
Kim Jong Kook.
