Momo came out from her room

“Unnie, My mum...  we have to go!” She yelled while sobbing going outside the house

I followed after

“Momo! What's wrong?"

She turned around, “They've just called me from the hospital... I have to go!" I could tell it was serious, she was hysterical

“Momo. Calm down calm down and let’s go! I'll drive"

We drove dwon in the speed of light

6:43 PM

I barely just parked the car when she popped the door open and dashed. 

I ran after her as soon as I turned my engine off, she's honestly pretty fast for such a small person

Momo almost ran into the front doors trying to frantically open the doors of the Hospital, forgeting they were automatic. 

We got to the lady up front to ask where the unit was, once done we both ran at the speed of light to the ICU.

We couldn't see anything that was happening inside since the curtains weere closed so she got even m ore panicked.

After some time the Doctor then finally came out. He looked at us as he shook his head trying his best not to look Momo directly in the eyes.

He finally sighed and looked up, "Are you miss Hirai?" 

Momo's voice wavered out, "Y-yes?" I look over and she looks scared out of her mind

The Doctor huffed out a sigh, "I'm sorry to say-" 

She didn't even let him finish.

“What!? No way. What do you mean?? No. No. GO AND TRY MORE! PLEASE! PLEASE HELP HER, SHE'S THE ONLY ONE I HAVE LEFT" Her voice cracking through her tears, pushing him back and forth.

“Miss Hirai, I'm sorry. Her heart stopped from a heart attack, we tried but... we couldn’t save her."

As I was standing behind Momo she suddenly fainted.

I quickly caught her so she wouldn't knock her head on the ground and get a concussion,

“She needs to be checked into a room!" The doctor said and told nurses to bring us to a room

We checked her into a room at a Hospital to keep her stable since she fainted because of the news of her mother passing

She was laying down on a bed

I sat on a chair next to her and held her hand

“Poor girl... she's suffering so much at this age"

She then woke up I stood up and caressed her hair

“Hey babygirl"

She looked me in the eyes and start crying immediately, the events earlier probably came back into her mind

There was a knock on the door, i went to get it

“Um excuse me ma’am, we need to do some financial procedures.“ A nurse at the door said

“Is this what really matters now?” I got worked up and yelled at the young nurse in the doorframe 

“I'm sorry miss, but that’s the hospital rules" I nodded and let her through,

"Ms.Hirai, could you sign here, please?" The nurse said handing her the papers

Momo looked pale as if she was going to faint again

“BUT WHERE AM I SUPPOSED TO GET THE MONEY?” She yelled wide-eyed

“45% of the money is already payed by the government but the rest...you have to pay” The nurse spoke calmly

I took the paper, I now was also wide-eyed

'$15,000???!!'

“I will go with her..." I said pointing to the nurse,

"You should stay here and rest well" I said giving her a small reassuring smile

“No, no I will-"

“And what exactly will you do? Just stay here Momo and wait for me." I said sternly

I went to the front desk with the nurse

"Okay Miss..." I squinted to see her nametag "Shin. I would like to pay off her bill"

"Excuse me? But who exactly are you to miss Hirai?"

"Uh... I am her friend." The nurse rose an eyebrow 

"Then you can't pay-"

I cut her off, "I'm her girlfriend. Happy?"

"Now just let me pay it off." I looked down hiding my not-so-subtle blush

The nurse smiled, "Okay, now follow me"

I signed papers and the deed was done

As I go back to Momo's room, she opens the door slowly as if she lost all her energy.

Going to the other side of the room to get her some water,

As I turn arounf not seeing her at her bed I looked around the room for her only to see her at the windowsil
