Hanbin impatiently flipped the pages of the thick book on the table in front of him. He sat on a seat beside the wide window, away from the hall but making sure that he had the view of the counter in his line of sight. He had taken into himself to cancel all his prior commitments for the day, even to an extent of switching off his phone, avoiding any disturbances. Today he would wait out in the library and confront Jinhwan. Okay maybe not confront but more like apologise for being too straight forward. Honestly speaking, he wasn't a least bit apologetic about yesterday's incident but anything to get into Jinhwan's good sides and maybe create better impression of himself. Today he has taken his time to dress up, and even style his chestnut colored hair up. You cannot blame one for trying to look good for one's crush. Crush! The word bought back old memories of high school and suddenly he let his mind wonder off to how Jinhwan would have been like in school. Must be absolutely utterly adorable. He stupidly grin at himself.

A loud clatter pulled him from his daydream and he shot his eyes up to the counter. It was the woman, perhaps she has dropped her belongings by mistake as she was frantically picking it up. Hanbin checked the time on his wristwatch. It has been well over an hour since he had taken a seat in the library but Jinhwan was still a no show.

'How can someone be an hour late on his job?!'. He pushed his chair back and walked up to the counter. The woman was too busy to notice Hanbin standing across the table.

He fake coughed to grabbed her attention and she looked up through her thick glasses. "Hi. I am looking for Jinhwan. Will he be showing up later?"

Somehow she looked a bit taken aback at his question but nonetheless she replied, "He won't be coming in today. He called in sick".

"Oh", he exclaimed,a bit frustrated as all his efforts got flushed in the drain. Sick,huh? Coincidence or intentional?!

"Do you want me to delivery a message for you when I see him?", the woman asked.

"No, its fine", he almost snapped to her. He went back to his seat, haphazardly gathered his books and shoved them in his bag. Slinging his bag onto his shoulder, he switched on his phone. Multiple beeps sounded. He quickly surfed through the notifications and punched in a reply to a message as he walked up to his car.

He buzzed the doorbell of an apartment unit. No reply. He buzzed again and after a few seconds he started rapidly knocking on the door. The door abruptly swung open.

"What the -", an annoyed looking guy yelled, half with only a towel wrapped around his waist, tanned toned abs in display.

Hanbin slightly pushed him to the side and walked in to the apartment, passing the guy by. He darted off to the kitchen and grabbed a beer can before flopping down on the sofa in the living room.

"Please, make yourself at home", the guy sarcastically added, closing the door behind him. Then the guy disappeared into his bedroom only to appear again after a minute fully clothed. He grabbed a beer can too and stationed himself opposite to Hanbin.

"What's up with you?", he said, opening the can and taking a sip. He stared at Hanbin who sat there alternating between gulping down his beer and sulking. "And why are you so dressed up? Were you out on a date? Do you get stood up or something?"

"Kind of", Hanbin replied, letting out a sigh. "Mino hyung"

"Hmm...", Mino hummed with his mouth full of beer.

"I met someone yesterday....in the library", Hanbin said, putting the empty can on the table.

"Oh. So that's why you left me waiting", Mino gave an annoyed look.

"Yeah..sorry about that. But anyways, I think I am in love with him", Hanbin said. Mino snorted at his choice of word.

"Not attraction or like but love?", Mino confirmed and the guy sitting opposite him nodded. "Very funny B.I"

"No seriously. Like I really felt something when I saw him. I don't know what it is and it's stupid but I did. And now I can't stop thinking about him. I went back there today but he didn't show", Hanbin explained. The incident of Jinhwan running off popped up in his head but no, he wasn't gonna tell Mino that unless he wanted to be laughed at on his face.

"Ok......", Mino replied, unsure of what to tell Hanbin, love at first sight just wasn't his thing. "So is he gorgeous?". Only that could explain Hanbin's feeling.

"Well....not exactly", he answered, remembering Jinhwan and as he did, he absent mindedly grinned. "But he is really cute"

Mino stared at him. "Dude, I didn't know cute guys were your type"

"I didn't know I had a type", he honestly didn't. "And he has a beauty spot too. Right here". He pointed to a finger to his right cheek under his eye. Mino chuckled at his action.

"Ugh. Lovesick Hanbin. I don't think I wanna deal with that", he said playfully. And Hanbin threw him a cold look. "Anyways, man, you gotta freshen up. Coming to Bobby's party tonight, right?"

"Yup", he gave a short answer.

"Good. You are my ride. And since you are already all dressed up, I will just go change and we will head out", Mino said before disappearing again into his bedroom.

An hour later, they found themselves standing in front of a big house designed in modern architecture. Bobby was one of the well known personalities in their university. He smart, rich, talented, very friendly and of course he threw one of the best parties in the area. They crossed the lawn. The place was buzzing with young people and loud music pumping in the air making their heart beat in a rhythm. Hanbin couldn't help but be hyped up. The moment they walked into the huge yet crowded living hall they were immediately greeted by a well built man with a toothy smile plastered on his face.

"Mino hyung", the guy swung his arms around Mino's shoulder. "You guys made it"

"We would never miss your party, Bobby", Mino returned the hug. "Happy birthday, man. You outdone yourself again, you big show off". Bobby gave out a loud laugh and a thank you after that.

"B.I", it was Hanbin's turn to receive a bear hug.

"Happy birthday, kimbab", Hanbin congratulated loudly. Mino cracked up.

"Hey, I told you to stop calling me that. It's Bobby hyung for you, you ungrateful brat", Bobby complained, lightly hitting Hanbin's head. "Anyways, you jerks should come with me. There are some people I wanna introduce you guys to". He added a little wink at the end of his words. Hanbin couldn't help but laugh.

"Don't get me into trouble again man", Mino groaned, as they followed Bobby further into the house and through the crowd.

Hanbin checked the place out, it was undoubtedly a great party, great music, great crowd. Some people he didn't know and the ones he was acquainted with he smiled and greeted them. As he continued to scanned the place, his eyes came to a sudden halt and the pace of his heartbeat raced, out of tune with the music. What a lovely coincidence!
