Flashback

The wind was blowing its breeze on a peaceful evening. We were playing on the swings, located beside the house. Then, Tiffany came home with a tall, lanky, tanned woman, carrying a whole bunch of groceries. They asked for us to come inside once dinner is ready. I didn’t like it. But Jessica hated it. Hated her.

      During dinner, Tiffany and Mrs. Choi talked about how things were going to be from then on. I wasn’t happy. I slammed my spoon on the table and walked out of the dining room, leaving my precious love alone at the table as Tiffany chased after me. A daunted Jessica sat in silence when suddenly Mrs. Choi snatched her spoon away, and asked her to follow my steps as she said it was what Jessica should be doing.
