The chatter of the room was intoxicating, the soft music emitting from the big speakers was relaxing. People everywhere, people they knew, and other people they knew but didn't really know. Everywhere you turned were smiles, laughter and hugging, like a teens party, but it wasn't.

Everywhere you looked, pleased smiles, lifted eyes, happy. But his lips, his lips weren't smiling, his lips were straight and trying not to quiver.

The memories were all flooding, all coming at once, making him go mad.

They weren't good memories that he left. 

The chatter was getting louder, getting to him, he was the celebrated, but he was the only one that couldn't place a smile on his face.

"I can't believe it has been so long-" their words were heard, but not abstained, he would nod, nod once again, listening but not paying attention. He felt dirty, his clothes were sweaty, he needed a shower. 

Slithering away from the crowd, small smiled here and there, he made his way upstairs. Some people were upstairs too,  quickly he made his way to his room. He found it strange that the lights were on, but paying no attention, he locked the room and started ing his shirt. Once done, he threw his shirt on his bed, followed by his pants, grabbing his bathing robe he made his way to the shower. 

"I never thought I'd see you again..." he murmured with a sigh. Letting another sigh out he hung his robe, dropped his underwear and opened the shower curtains. 

The curtains opened revealing a shocked man inside.

"Long time no see cousin," he had just entered the house, full of people, family, he never remembered having so much family. Spotting his wife talking to his aunt he quickly made his way to them.

"Honey," he said as he gave her a peck on the cheek, "Auntie, haven't seen you in a while," 

"Jonghyun, how have you been darling," Taeyeon said rubbing his arm lovingly, "All is as it always is aunt,"

"Have you been drinking?" Yoobin asked eyeing him, "What are you talking about," taking a step back he tried to cover his mouth, he had forgotten of the little drinking he did before.

"Jonghyun, you know exactly what I mean," annoyed she turned away from Taeyeon and dragged Jonghyun to a less crowded spot.

"You've been out drinking all day? Is that seriously what you have been doing all day?-"

"NO, listen-"

"Don't lie to me Jonghyun, you said you had something to do at the office! But you didn't you went to drink!?"

"Yoobin, please, not now, this is not the time-" awkwardly he tried smiling at the faces he was getting from some people around them, "It's never the time for you!"

"Yoobin! Yoobin!" the latter turned away and left the male behind her, "Haha-" awkwardly he laughed, "nice seeing everyone here."

Murmuring under his breath he brushed past everyone and made his way upstairs, as he was making his way to his room he saw his mother coming out of it. 

"Mother?" he questioned, she rose a finger to making a shushing sound, "Shh, Sana's baby is sleeping," she said as she carefully closed the door. 

"In my room?" Jonghyun questioned, "Yeah, Yoobin said she could use it, it's the biggest room after all," she finished and walked away. 

"How am I supposed to get my clothes now...." looking at his door he thought, "Maybe I could borrow some from....Kibum...." ruffling his hair he looked over at the next door.
