both of them have been busy with their own schedule, but sehun was even busier with practicing for EXO's upcoming concert. their shared apartment had been abandoned since sehun had to stay with s at the dorm for easier access and soojung didn't want to sleep there alone, so she stayed at jessica's for a while. so when sehun told her than he was finally coming back home, soojung wanted to make sure that he felt welcomed by trying to cook for him. (emphasize on "trying"). when sehun entered the apartment, he was welcomed by soojung throwing herself at him wearing a yellow apron (he remembers how surprised he was when she picked it right away instead of the blue or red apron right next to it. 'there are baby chicks on it', she said.). she said she was in a hurry so all she could manage to make was spaghetti. sehun loves soojung so much, but (no, sehun, don't ever think about it. don't you dare.) it's—

“hun?” soojung calls out, head tilting to the side as she sits across from him, looking worried.

he realizes that he took too much time to answer her.

“... i like it.” he finally answers.

“it’s bad... isn’t it?” soojung presses her lips together. she takes his fork and tries it, making a face almost right after the food touched her tongue. “oh my god.”

Before he could say anything, she already pulls the plate towards her. “i should’ve tried it first! oh my god- it’s so sweet! I didn’t realize that i put too much sugar-“

after a sigh, she looks at him, embarrassed. “i’m sorry... i just thought it might lift your spirits...”

a soft smile unknowingly spreads across his face as he reaches out to wipe a red speck on her cheek.

he loves soojung so much.

“spirits lifted.”
