It’s finally Friday, AKA the day of the music club’s group’s performances.

Jackson managed to reserve one of the school’s auditoriums and with a good job at advertising the event, the place was being quickly filled with students and some curious teachers.

“Oh my god…” V quickly closes the curtains of the stage, hiding behind them. “I thought that we were only going to perform in front of the other students from our club.”

“What? Don’t tell me that you’re actually nervous?” Jungkook asks.

“I-I’m not nervous. It just caught me a little off guard.”

“If you didn’t get so flushed when you answered me, that even your cheeks turned pink, maybe I would have believed in you.” Jungkook teases, making Taehyung’s cheeks turn a darker shade of pink.

“Stop bullying Tae!” Jimin says, hugging his bestfriend. “At least wait until we finish our performance.”

V opens his mouth in disbelief. “Are you serious right now Jimin? Here I was, thinking that you were defending me, but you’re just worried that I’ll mess up the music and get our asses whooped by Jackson.”

“Emphasis on the word ‘our’. As you can see, I’m worried that you gets whooped as well.” Jimin says, shaking his head on V’s neck.

V sighs and peeks behind the curtains one more time, watching as almost all the seats are already taken.

“Start getting ready, you two. We’re the second group to perform, so it shouldn’t take long until it’s our turn.” Jimin says, letting go of V.

“Where are you going?” Jungkook asks.

“Trying to find Suga. He said that he was going to take a nap, and asked me to wake him up when it was getting close to our turn to go on stage.” He says as he’s leaving.

V returns to what he was doing, and can’t help but to gulp as he watches how the main doors of the auditorium open and close so many times. He decides to look at the people who are already in their seats and he starts counting them. “One, two, three, four, five, six,…” He starts mumbling.

Jungkook, who was still at the same place as before, lifts an eyebrow as he hears V’s mumblings.

“…twenty three…twenty four… twenty five… Ouch!” He winces when he feels a slight pain in his neck. He looks behind and sees an unfazed Jungkook looking straight at him. “Did you just flicked my neck?” He shouts.

“So what if I did? You were getting on my nerves with all that counting.”

Taehyung scoffs.

“Besides, if you’re seriously that nervous, doing that will only make it worse.” He ends up saying. “And why are you even nervous? You are like the last person that I would think that could get nervous in this situation.”

After a couple of seconds, V starts speaking. “I actually wouldn’t believe that I would get this nervous as well. And the fact that it got me by surprise only made it worse.” Taehyung lets out a nervous laugh.

“Such an idiot.”

“What?” V asks as if he hadn’t heard him right.

“You’re such an idiot, getting nervous just because of this. I mean, I already knew that you were slow, stupid and an idiot, but it’s only now that I realize that you’re also a coward.” He says, bored.

“I’m not! I’m so not.” Taehyung retorts.

“Really now? Doesn’t seem like it.” Jungkook’s lip corners lift up, enjoying just how he easily he can make Taehyung riled up.
