Misunderstandings
V and his Friends
“Finally!” Jimin said the next morning after the bell rang for their break. “Let’s go to the vending machines and buy something to eat.”
“You go ahead. I have to finish this first and then I’ll meet you there.”
“Jesus, Taehyung. Why do you always leave your homework for the last minute?”
“I’m a busy man.” Taehyung simply responded, not moving his eyes from the notebook.
“Just hurry up. I get lonely when I’m without you.” Jimin said in a whining but playful tone.
Taehyung rolled his eyes at Jimin, and when the latter left the classroom, he continued to write, but now with a slight smile on his face.

Jimin was standing near a vending machine counting his money and praying that he had enough to buy his favorite cookies.
“Hey!” Someone said, close to Jimin.
Jimin raised his head. “Oh, hi Jungkook.” He said smiling.
“Do you need me to lend you some money?” Jungkook asked.
“No, no, but thanks. I think I have just enough.”
Jungkook nodded and smiled saying goodbye to Jimin, to buy something to eat too.
“Oh, by the way…” Jimin said, making Jungkook turn to face him once again. “We’re going to eat lunch together today so we can continue working in our music project after that. Okay?” Jimin asked.
“Okay, that’s fine by me.”
“Sorry to ask you this just now. I wanted to ask you yesterday, but I don’t have your phone number.”
“No problem. V already told me yesterday.”
“Hmm? V has your number?” Jimin asked a little confused.
Jungkook snorted at his question. “Only in his dreams.”
“Oh… so you were together yesterday?”
“Yeah, just for a while, after school.”
Jimin smirked. “Really…?”
Jungkook looked at him with a confused expression. “Oh my god, Jimin. It’s not what you’re thinking. We didn’t plan to meet, we just happened to be walking in the same direction.” Jungkook quickly spoke, after seeing the way Jimin was looking at him, finally realizing what he had said a minute ago and what it sounded like.
Jimin laughed. “Don’t need to be so defensive, Jungkookie. I wasn’t thinking anything other than that.” Jimin lied.

With his homework finally finished, V left his classroom and made way to the vending machines, which were still a little far away from him.
“Taehyung!” Someone almost shouted.
V turned around.
“Hi.” The other person said. “I think this is actually the first time I see you in school.”
