Things You Said Over the Phone.

Youngjae and Jaebum were having one of their very first fights as a married couple and it was a huge one. Plus it didn’t help that Jaebum was abroad for a business trip and Youngjae was stuck in their newly bought house with ton of boxes with both of their belongings that he had to unbox all by himself.

“Hyung, I understand that you’re working and all but I don’t understand why we couldn’t move in after you got home” Youngjae said angrily through the phone.

Although their fight was one of the biggest arguments the two have gotten ever since they started to date, it was practically about nothing.

“Youngjae, stop being a baby and just do it or leave it, I don’t exactly care. To be honest, I don’t understand why can’t you just leave those damn boxes alone and wait until I come back. Just unpack all the necessities and the rest we can unpack together next week” Jaebum suggested, annoyed that they’ve been arguing over nothing for thirty minutes.

“Hyung, you know I can’t stand these types of things. God, you know what, forget it, I’ll call Yugyeom over or something” Youngjae mumbled, tired of arguing over a bunch of boxes.

“No, don’t, don’t you dare call Kim Yugyeom, Choi Youngjae” Jaebum suddenly started to get angry at the mention of a name he absolutely despised.

“I understand that you see him as only a donsaeng but he doesn’t only see you as hyung, he likes you, idiot” Jaebum remarked before Youngjae could even think of anything to reply back.

“But...” Youngjae started again only to be interrupted with Jaebum’s long rant about how Youngjae was an idiot for not noticing how Yugyeom’s always hitting on him.

“Okay, okay, hyung I get it, you can stop now” Youngjae was too tired to hear another lecture on how innocent and naïve he was.

“But it’s kind of unfair how you can scold me however long you want when I bring up Yugyeom but I can’t really say anything when you slide Jinyoung hyung into our conversations on daily basis” Youngjae complained to his husband, who was actually supposed to be preparing for his upcoming meeting that could possible determine the future of his newly built company, instead of arguing over nothing with Youngjae.

“Jinyoung’s a different case! Jinyoung is already taken! He is dating Mark, so how can he possible hit on me if he has a perfectly good boyfriend himself” Jaebum fired back, knowing exactly with which cards to play to win the argument.

“I hate how rational you are” Youngjae snorted, hearing out Jaebum’s another lecture on how he would never ever choose someone over Youngjae.

“Anyway, shut up now and come back quickly” Youngjae angrily shouted over the phone, hanging up immediately after.

A few seconds after Youngjae’s phone rang. It was Jaebum.

“I love you, Choi Youngjae” Jaebum’s cute and calm voice could be heard over the phone.
