Somnus: Tale of the Sleeping Prince
I'm kicking myself for not letting you take that "Break from the script" prompt, because you're right, your story embodied that so well. If only! But as it is, you used the prompt you were given to great effect and now I'm just left wondering what happens next. Believability
For fantasy it is believable. I do have more questions about the world and the ruling system and why the people hate the ruler if Chi is used by the Knights, but I suspect that it will be addressed in the sequel. I would have enjoyed it had it been addressed in the first book though. The world as you've described is very believable given the terms of reality within what you've made, and so I appreciated that. More explanations of how Mage's and magic and Chi work would be helpful in the long run! Setting
Your setting and description is amazing, but there was the issue of the depth of the world. You explained many things and have such a complex world here, but even after reading I feel like there are still things I don't understand. The
