PROMPT 28: Futuristic modern day setting. Use the TV show Survivor as the basis for it, in that tribes vote out one another until the merge, and that there is a chance to win rewards and immunity, etc, and whomever is voted off each week actually dies.

PLOT

Use of the Prompt
For the first few chapters I was thinking that you hadn't used the whole prompt (the mist fooled me too!), but when it was revealed it made me quite happy. I of course have questions, like did they go into the mist to conceal them being killed and dragged away? When exactly where they killed? But it was a totally different idea than I had thought you would be going with. The fact that you set it in modern day Earth and not in some fantasy world, and had explanations for the why as well, that was really interesting and unique. Believability
Well... it was believable in manyparts, especially to me as a fan of Survivor, but I was confused with how it was not discovered before and how Hoya figured it out. My general thought was that maybe the episodes had been delayed in their airing and therefore gave them more time to get away with it? But you didn't say how long the voting process lasted so I was left a little unsure. Clarity on that would help to solve that issue and smooth out any unbelievable-ness. Setting
