Jimin P.O.V 

I woke up to my alarm and glared at it as if it was my worse enemy. Today was the first day of my new school so I figured glaring at my alarm clock would get me no where. I stood up from bed and went to wash up for school. I wore my school uniform and tied my curly brown hair into a high pony tail. I was lazy to put on contacts so I just wore my thick glasses instead. I glance at the clock and it was already 7:05. I'm gonna be late. I shoved my books into my black leather bag and just dashed to school forgetting about breakfast. 

I reached school at exact 7:30 and was not late fortunately. Finding my way around the school was hard though since this is one big school. Finally after what seemed like forever, I found the teacher's lounge and gently knock on the door. A middle aged man came to me and smiled. 

Mr. Song: Are you new? I've never seen you before? 
Me: Uh yea, I'm new... I was supposed to look for Mr. Choi, do you know where he is?
Mr. Song: Yea, he sits right next to me *smiles* come on I'll bring you to him.

He brought me to Mr. Choi and left smiling. I looked at Mr. Choi and bowed at him before sitting down.

Mr. Choi: Park Jimin right? *smiles*
Me: Neh... *flustered*
Mr. Choi: Well lets go, class is about to start *smiles*

He brought me to class and it was a long walk. Finally we reached the class and I was dumbfounded. Everyone in class were all noisy and they don't look like they were appropriate for school. I cursed slightly under my breath and Mr. Choi asked me to introduce myself. I took a deep breath and he quiet down the class.

Me: Annyeonghasaeyo, My name is Park Jimin and I hope you guys take good care of me... *bows*
MinYeon: *scoffs* As if, just another nerd in the class *rolls eyes*
Mr. Choi: Thats enough MinYeon!! *sighs* why not you find a seat and we'll get started with class? *smiles at me* 
Me: N-neh... *bows*

I walked towards an empty seat beside a guy and sat down since it was the only empty seat in this whole class. Mr. Choi turned to write something on the whiteboard and I heard some girls whispering near my table.

Girl 1: Two nerds sitting together, what a sight *scoffs* Now I have 2 reasons to not look that way...
Girl 2: True fact, I bet those 2 would just talk about books all day *snickers* wonder why did they enroll themselves into our school in the first place? *rolls eyes*
Girl 1: I know right? What makes them think they fit in here?

I faced the floor at the and tried to hold in my tears. It's the first day of school, don't cry Jimin... The guy beside me nudged me and I looked up to him with slightly wet eyes. He smiled at me and just shook his head. I cocked mine and he introduced himself.

HwanHee: Annyeong, I'm Lee HwanHee :) Don't mind them, they just have nothing better to do *shrugs* Want me to bring you around later? *smiles*
Me: *sniff* sure... *smiles slightly*

He nodded and turned his attention back to Mr. Choi. My heart was thumping so hard against my chest and I could feel my face flush into a slight pink. I glanced at him again and he had huge glasses on and neatly styled hair. I shook it off and turned my attention back to class. 

Recess arrived and students piled up to leave the class. I was busy keeping my stuff and I didn't notice HwanHee staring at me. I faced him and was shocked since he was smiling. He nudged me standing up and walking towards the door. I followed him and he just walked beside me. He had his hands in his pockets and walked very casually. People were whispering at us and they weren't any good comments. All I heard were 'Why is he trying so hard to act cool?' Or 'is that his girlfriend? Pretty suitable, nerd and nerd *scoff*' or 'Attention much'. I looked at him and he just shrugged. We reached a quiet spot and sat down.

Me: Don't you get offended from their comments?
HwanHee: I don't really pay attention *shrugs* I am here to study, not get offended by low lives *chuckles*
Me: wow, you're strong... 
HwanHee: I believe you are too *smiles* 
Me: What do you mean? *blinks*
HwanHee: I know you're like me, I just wanna tell you to ignore the haters and be yourself *smiles* Don't be intimidated by those low lives *chuckles*

I was about to say something when he suddenly said he was hungry. We went to get food and sat down together. I had to use the bathroom so I excused myself from HwanHee. After few minutes of walking, I found myself lost in the sea of noisy students. I had no choice but to go up to a student and ask for directions.

Me: *gulps* *taps student's shoulder* excuse me, do you know the way to the toilet?
MinYeon: The ? *turns around* You?! Aren't you the new nerd in our class? What the hell do you want? *fold arm*
Me: I j-just wanted to ask for directions... *trembles*
MinYeon: And what makes you think I'll give it to you huh? The nerd of the school. Just look at you, our school is put into shame for having students like you *scoffs*
Me: W-what about me? *sniff* 
MinYeon: You don't belong here nerd, go back to your library or wherever you bookworms rot. *pushes me on the floor*
Me: Hey! *falls* 
MinYeon: I'm sorry, did I hurt your feelings? *smirk* Go home, I hate the sight of you attention seeking . 
Me: What did I ever do to you? I just wanted directions from you! 
MinYeon: *slap* a slug like you dare to yell at me? Looks like you need a lesson... 

She began to step on my hand and kick my stomach. I winced in pain while I heard students gathering to watch. The pain intensifies and I could hear cheering. Some of the girls even joined in bullying me. I cried small tears and had no energy left to scream for help. 

Suddenly a familiar voice voiced out and the kicking stopped, the pain didn't though. MinYeon stood up and just scoffed followed by the other students. The guy came to me and I saw just a faint silhouette of him since I was in so much pain. I heard him sigh and he picked my small figure up walking in a direction. After a few minutes, I felt myself being left on a soft bed and my wounds suddenly stung. I hissed and the guy just chuckled.

HwanHee: Don't worry, the pain will be gone soon *chuckles*
Me: Thanks... *small smile* *cough* 
HwanHee: She really got you good huh? *sighs* 
Me: Yea... *sniff* whats wrong with me? I'm just another ordinary school girl trying to graduate and get a good job... Why does she hate me so much? *sniffing*
HwanHee: I don't get it too... *sighs* It is just their way for viewing people. I can help you if you want...
Me: How...? *sniff*
HwanHee: Trust me *smiles*

With that being said, the days after that incident, I began to hang out with HwanHee more. We became close friends and he would often protect me from MinYeon and other bullies in school. I've never seen him out of school though. We were best friends in school but we never hang out during weekends and that saddened me because I think I have a crush on him. I want to confess but I was scared he would reject me. Valentines day was coming and i was planning to confess to him. Its either he accepts or reject. Either way loosing another friend wouldn't do any difference in my life. 

I slipped a note into his locker and went to class. Class went on as usual and soon it was break time. HwanHee went to his locker and I was talking to the teacher.

HwanHee P.O.V

I was at my locker getting some stuffs and I saw a note inside it. 'HwanHee Oppa, come meet me in the cafeteria after break. I wanna tell you something. -Jimin' I chuckled and waited for recess to be over so I could go see what Jimin wanted to tell me. The bell rang signaling class time and I walked to the cafeteria seeing Jimin sitting alone there playing with her skirt fabric. I walked over to her and sat right in front of her smiling. She blushed and I just laughed at her cuteness. 

Me: You wanted to tell me something? *smiles*
Jimin: I... I really l-like you HwanHee Oppa... And I u-understand i-if you don't accept me... *faces table*

My heart thumped against my chest and I just looked at her. She looked up to me and her face was flushed pink. I smiled at her and opened my mouth to say something when suddenly someone interrupted. 

MinYeon: Wow!! I can't believe this actually confessed. I told you guys she would *scoff*

She was there with 5 other students and they were all laughing at Jimin. I looked at Jimin and she was crying. I grabbed her arm and pulled her out from the cafeteria. She looked at me with her teary eyes and quickly adverted her gaze. I gently held her chin and she faced me. I smiled and shook my head.

Jimin P.O.V.

HwanHee held me chin and smiled sincerely to me shaking his head. I sniffed looking at him and he took me into his embrace. I inhaled his cologne and relaxed. Slowly I hugged him back and listened to his heart beat. It was as fast as mine and I looked up to him.

HwanHee: thank you for telling me that Jimin-ah. 
Me: what do you mean?
HwanHee: I was afraid that it was a one sided love but luckily you proved me wrong *smiles*
Me: But...
He shushed me with his fingers and chuckled.
HwanHee: I wasn't going to reject you but since MinYeon got in the way, I couldn't tell you how I felt. Actually when I first saw you, I knew you were like me. I didn't want people to bully you so I wanted to protect you. Eventually my feelings for you became stronger as we got closer and I was sad that I couldn't hang out with you more often during weekends. I wanted to but since you've never seen the real me before, I was scared you'd leave me... 
Me: But you are a great person, why would I leave you?
HwanHee: You'll figure it out soon. *chuckles* Want to go out on a date tomorrow? Since you're mine now *smiles*
Me: *blush* Yea... *smiles*
HwanHee: Cute *eye smiles*

We walked back to class and I was happy that he accepted me. However what he told me earlier had me wondering. I was scared yet excited, tomorrow eventually came and I decided to look how I usually looked like. I wore my contacts and let my brown hair down along with applying a little light makeup. I went to the mall and waited for HwanHee to arrive since he told me he would be a little late. 

Suddenly a handsome young man walked up to me and smiled. I was flustered and I stood up.

HwanHee: So... How do I look?

My eyes were about to pop out from their sockets because this handsome young man in front of me was actually my boyfriend. I blushed and adverted from his gaze again. He was wearing a shirt with a cardigan, a pair of ripped jeans and his hair was styled cooly. 

HwanHee: *sigh* I knew you would react like that *sulks*
Me: W-why? How? Huh?
HwanHee: Could say the same about you Jimin-ah *chuckles* 

I blushed knowing he hadn't seen me before out of school and he walked closer to me. I looked into his eyes and it showed a hint of insecurity. I cocked my head and we sat down on a bench.
 
HwanHee: So, would you still want me as your boyfriend? After you seen the real me...? *sulks*
Me: *chuckles* what makes you think I would feel differently by the way you look? It's you who I like, not your looks pabo yah. 
HwanHee: Really...? 
Me: You are a great person :) I like you for who you are, Oppa. *smiles*
HwanHee: Thanks Jagiya :3 I was right about you, you are just like me :) 
Me: *chuckles* Let's go and have fun then :3
HwanHee: Yea~ only if you promise to stay with me forever~
Me: I promise~~
