"Sundays are always relaxing." 

It's a quite Sunday evening and there is a sweet scent of gingerbread in the warm kitchen that makes the tall man think of his grandmother's small cozy home in Maryland. The slight buzzing of the fluorescent light hanging above his head, makes the man slightly more relaxed than usual. Almost, is the word. His gaze lingers on the seven candles in the silver manora that gleams and reflects off the the frosted windows. It's almost too relaxing to turn away. Although, again, almost is the word that sits heavily in his head as his gaze slides away from the burning candles and over to the slightly skewed pile of manila folders. The stack seems taller than the figure across from him that is hunched over an open folder.

      "Hey Nick, you better grab these while they're hot." the man says plucking a potato pancake that sits in the middle of the cluttered table. 

The older man looks at the pile of Latkes, Couslon made in front of the folder he is reading and plucks one from the stack. He bites into it and swallows down the savory taste. It's actually pretty great and soon he eats another piece before placing on the side of his file he's currently reading. Coulson looks up from his file and smiles expectantly at his coworker and bestfriend. Almost like he knows what Nick Fury is thinking. 

      "You'd think after all these times. We've haven't seen it all but again surprises are recurring." He says rubbing the bridge if his nose and closes the open files. 

Nick Fury looks at the file that sits in front of him and scans over the report made by S.H.I.E.L.D. from a few days ago. They weren't really surprises to the director whose whole job revolved around the protection of the world. You were suppose to be ready for the unexpected, which this was. The unexpected being an selected few of individuals seen warping from one place to another and leaving strange talismen behind in odd places. They had read reports of mysterious people animating objects and even stopping time. That was something alarming not surprising, especially compared to the events both Fury and Coulson seen over the years. 

      "I think we've seen our fair share of surprising events." Fury laughed.

Coulson agrees and leans back in his chair. They had seen Deities fall from the sky and even their childhood heroes turning out real. They had seen their comrades turn on each other and even fight; fist to fist and even exchange deathly blows. They had even seen giant like titans stomped the heroes into the ground and stand over some of the most brave and strongest heroes they had ever known. In fact, they indeed had seen it all. Coulson rubbed at his dry eyes and blinked. They had been at this for hours, thinking of who or what could possible have this amount of power.  

     "You'd think this would turn the Avengers away if they heard just how many reports of these people keep popping up?" Coulson asked crossing his arms.

      "Whose to say they haven't seen them already. Knowing them, they have. But, then again, being a Hero is like a catch 22." Nick Fury sighs closing the file sitting in front of him, "You can't have the good without the ugly. You'd think they would be on the fence, when we proposed this idea together. All we can do now is to do our best to protect and help guide these heroes."

Hey, there guys! Coming at you with another teaser because I think you guys deserve it and also it's the Holidays and it's indeed the seventh day of Hanukkah! So Happy Holidays and Happy Hanukkah! I included Hanukkah in this because I always head cannoned Coulson as being Jewish and celebrating Hanukkah. Also, I wrote about the potential villains of the Young Avengers as well. I hope you guys caught the vague mention of events that happened to the Avengers throughout the movies. So I hope you guys like this! As well, goodluck to anyone with exams or who still has school!
