Am I reading this right? Jessica?! Jessica's coming here?! Omo omo! But... Even if I want to,I know I won't be able to see even a glimpse of her, how unfair can life be, if only I don't have school, I'll be roaming over Milan tomorrow in hopes of finding her.

 

 

'Jessica.jsy: Finally!'

 

 

She's updated after 18 hours, I'm on the way to school, she's on the airport, it's way too far, my mom will kill me if I ended up ditching school.

Duomo... Wait... What?! She's in Duomo?! I'm on the way home, and I just checked her Instagram. I immediately went to the subway and took and Yellow line(station). Duomo is on it after all.

 

 The ride was long, or was I just too giddy? Either way, as soon as the train stopped, I hopped out as the door opened, bumping some people waiting to enter, I mumbled a few 'Scusi's (Sorry/Excuse me). I hurried out and ran up the escalator. 

 

The massive cathedral welcomed me, I looked around, hoping to catch a glimpse of Jessica, but as expected, there was none. I entered the cathedral, again, looked around, I found the place where Jessica took a photo, but of course, Jessica wasn't there anymore. Defeated, I took a photo from the same angle Jessica did, and posted it on Instagram, a few friends and co-fans commented on how unfortunate I was and to have better luck the next time. I went home devastated, but was still hopefull, I still have 6 days.

It's my birthday, and I guess you all know what it was that I wished for.

 

 

The days of my week passed on quickly, but I never had the chance to see her, now, I'm about to go to school, and I'm still checking my Instagram.

Arco Della Pace? Ugh that's far, but she just posted it, should I take a risk?

 

 

"Taeyeon? Aren't you going to school?" I glanced over to my mom, okay, that's it.

 

 

"Mom I'm sorry!" I blurted out and ditched my backpack to run out the door, not giving my mother a chance to give me a piece of her mind.

 

 

I ran to the station, got inside a train hurriedly, changed trains, walked, rode again, and then I finally arrived, I again looked around, but failed again, I spent minutes going around,I guess I will never see Jessica Jung ever in my life, with a slumped back, I headed to the tram stop, readying myself to face my mom.

 

 

As I was waiting, I saw a woman sitting on one of the benches, she was hugging her knees, burying her face on the process. I know I shouldn't approach strangers, but my feet won't listen as it kept on heading towards her.

 

 

"umm.." I started, catching her attention, she raised her head. Oh my gosh. I know, I was stunned, I stared at her, and I noticed her nose and cheeks were reddish, she was just wearing light clothing, and it was still cold. She- 

 

 

"Scusi?" She broke my tranced state as she wave her seemingly soft hands in front of my face.

 

 

"E-eh?" Was all that I could say, stupid Taeyeon! Now she'll think that you're a creep, I was busy reprimanding myself when I heard her chuckle, oh God is this heaven?

 

 

"You're cute" she stated in English

 

 

"Thankyou" I replied in Korean, a grin plastered on my face as I saw her eyes widen up, just a bit, which was barely noticeable. I need to control my fangirling feels.

 

 

"You're Korean?" She asked with her oh so sweet voice

 

 

"Yes" then I pointed to my eyes

 

 

"I figured"

 

 

"So..." I trailed "What is miss Jung doing here alone? Not accompanied by managers?" I asked as I sat down beside her, I freaking sat down beside her! Good work! Brava Taeyeon.

 

 

"You know me?" She questioned, now the shock was visible on her face 

 

 

"Of course I do, I've been looking for you for so long" I confessed, wait, what if she thinks that I'm a creep. "So?" I added, hoping to divert our conversation 

 

 

"Well, I wanted to try getting on that" she pointed on a tram, covered in blue advertisements, that's about to stop in front of us "And I got separated" She sakd, it was my turn to chuckle, earning a glare

 

 

"Never thought you were childish" I told her, I pulled her up as I saw the tram stop, she was now giving me a curious look. "I'm kidnapping you" I let out with a wink, brava Taeyeon, you're brave.

 

 

"Really? Should I scream and shout now?" She played along

 

 

"Depends, but you won't get to experience riding this"

 

 

"Hmp"

 

 

"It's your last day here right?"

 

 

"Oh, what a stalker" she told me with a grin

 

 

"Oh shut up you" why am I even talking like this to my idol? And I'm strangely comfortable. "Since the seats are all taken, wanna head to the back? It's easier to stand there" I asked and she nodded, her eyes wandering around.

 

 

"Kidnapper-ssi" she called, I found myself raising my brows at her. "What? I don't know you're name"

 

 

"Taeyeon. Kim Taeyeon, well unnie for you" I teased

 

 

"You're older than me?" She asked, it was her turn to raise a brow

 

 

"A month" I casually answered, remembering that my birthday is today.

 

 

"So? March 18?" I shook my head "When?" She asked, I answered with a grin

 

 

"Oh, you sure you aren't the stalker here?" I teased and she rolled her eyes "Today" then it widened, she's gonna be a cute emoticon if ever.

 

 

"What?! Omo Happy Birthday!" She exclaimed,catching the attentions of the Italians around us

 

 

"Scusi" I smiled apologetically towards them

 

 

"Really?" And I nodded "We should celebrate then" she told me with almost sparkling eyes, an emoticon indeed.

 

 

"No need, where do you wanna go? I can accompany you"

 

 

"Ehhh, but we should celebrate birthdays!" Then she puffed her cheeks, then the tram turned to the right, making her stumble onto me, oh god.

 

 

"C-Careful" I stuttered, I can now feel my face going red,good thing that she was looking down. "This vehicle is shaky" I told her as I gently removed my arms from her shoulders and guided her hands to the hand grips. "Hold on tight" I whispered, and now I'm losing my voice, calm down Taeyeon.

 

 

"Thankyou" she said

 

 

"Where do you wanna go next then?"

 

 

"I don't know, do you have any places in mind?"

 

 

"Not really, I still haven't roamed around much since I was busy with university and stuff"

 

 

"You're still studying?" I nodded "What are you doing here now then?" I cheekily smiled

 

 

"I wanted to meet you of course, scratch that, I wanted to atleast see you" I fessed up

 

 

"You like me that much?"

 

 

"Of course!" Then I realized how it came out "No! Ah Yes! I mean, you were an inspiration, my role model and I, uh" I stopped ranting when I heard her laugh

 

 

"Don't be so nervous" she said "I know that I'm beautiful" she joked and flipped her hair

 

 

"Krystal is more beautiful than you though?" I stated and her smile was turned into a frown

 

 

"Go to her then!"

 

 

"Would you introduce me?" I teased and she scoffed "I was kidding"

 

 

"I hate you" and she pouted

 

 

"Don't worry, I don't like you just because of your looks"

 

 

"Let's take a picture" she suddenly proposed "It's great to capture unforgettable moments" she smiled, so bright.

 

 

I took my phone, held it out to the perfect angle, we went closer to each other, my heart, wait Tae, she's just your idol. Then she also took hers.

 

 

"IG" she grinned

 

 

"Deal with that later" I told her when I saw her opening the app, she looked up at me, as if asking 'why'. "Capture it all first, then you could pick which moment of your life it is that you want to share to the people around you" I told her and she turned her phone off.

 

 

"Deep!" She teased

 

 

The ride was great, I almost never wanted it to stop. We talked about my life here, how I felt about coping up, who we found handsome or beautiful ones on the other passengers.

 

 

"We're here" I told her as I pressed the button, requesting to get down the next stop. Near Duomo.

 

 

"What are we doing here?" She asked as I guided her down.

 

 

"We're about to have fun" I answered and again pulled her

 

 

"What, fun walking around?"

 

 

"Shopping" I glanced at her and saw how her face lightened up, before I knew it, I was the one being pulled, I could just shook my head, then took my phone out secretly and took a photo of her back and our hands that held each other, I've seen that on Twitter once that's why.

 

 

We went inside every shop that sells shoes, accessories, and many others.

 

 

"Why aren't you buying anything?" I asked as we arrived in front of the last shop in the area

 

 

"I could ask you the same" was her response, I rose a brow and she sighed "I wanted to buy so many things, but..." She trailed "I don't have my purse with me" that was the only time that I noticed her not carrying anything. "Gosh I'm so stupid!" She exclaimed

 

 

"Go first" I told her and opened the door, she gave me a confused look. "Gotta make a phone call" I just said and waved my phone, she was still doubting so I gently pushed her to go inside, giving her no choice but to enter.

 

 

I watched her roam around the shop, my phone on my ear so if ever she glanced over, I'll seem like I'm talking to someone. Then I saw her stop in front of a black coat, she must be cold, I frowned, I was feeling guilty for taking her out on the cold for too long.

 

 

Then I entered the shop and walked towards her.

 

 

"Found anything you like?" I innocently asked, and she shook her head

 

 

"Nope, let's go" then she hooked her arm around mine.

 

 

"Wait" I said, making both of us stop on our tracks. "I actually wanted to buy something"

 

 

"Oh, then I'll wait for you" she said

 

 

"Uh no" I rejected, and saw her frown "I mean, you can head over to that shop" I said and pointed to a café near. "Don't worry, there are a bunch of Koreans there" I assured her, then again, ushered her out, oh well, atleast she followed. I looked over the glass windows to make sure that she arrived safe. I picked up the coat that she was looking at earlier,really a fashion icon, then I looked at the price, seems like I'll be poor for some months, better ask Hyo for work. "Scusi" I let out as I walked towards the cashier.

"Tae!" A voice called as I entered the café's door. Oh, it was Tiff

 

 

"Hey Tiff, what's up?" I asked

 

 

"You wouldn't believe what it is that I'll tell you!" She squealed, oh, I have an idea what it is.

 

 

"Hmm? Fill me up" 

 

 

"Guess who's-" but before she could continue, Jessica called me, waving at me to come over where she was, I glanced over at Tiffany who has and eyes wide open and smirked at her.

 

 

"Hey, sorry for the wait" I told her "How's the place?" I asked for her opinion and I left Tiffany standing over there, still processing what just happened,well, I couldn't believe it too

 

 

"Nice, it's warm here" was her answer, then I handed her the paper bag she stared at me confused

 

 

"Gift" I casually told her, but she didn't take it

 

 

"Taeyeon-ssi, I can't accept that" she said

 

 

"Why not?" I asked, pouting, hoping that it could work

 

 

"Cause we're basically strangers" ouch

 

 

"But you're not to me" I boldly stated, I can see that I caught her off guard

 

 

"Really?" She asked, amusement mirrored through her eyes

 

 

"Really, so you better accept my gift" 

 

 

"Don't wanna"

 

 

"Jessica-ssi, you know that I've been your fan for the longest time right?" I sincerely asked her, or maybe stated, she just nodded, as if telling me to continue "And this?" I asked as I lifted up the paper bag "Is nothing compared to what you did to me" wait is she blushing? "So please? Just accept it?" I pleaded, come onnnn

 

 

"Okay, fine" she finally agreed with a sigh

 

 

"Thankyou-"

 

 

"Ehem, Tae, if you don't mind me interrupting your cheesy confession-" Tiffany suddenly appeared

 

 

"I wasn't!" I immediately denied, what if Jessica thinks of it that way? I'm not- wait, maybe I am, but that's a secret!

 

 

"Yeah yeah, whatever" she said, rolling her eyes and landed on Jessica, giving out her eyesmile. "You're miss Jessica Jung right?" She asked, admiration evident on her face

 

 

"Yes I am" Jessica answered oh so politely, oooh, that's my girl!- oh wait, that's not right.

 

 

"Omo, how can you and my short friend here, be together? Did she kidnap you? Jessica-ssi, don't worry, I'll give her a piece of my mind later" Tiffany ranted, earning a chuckle from the other.

 

 

"Oh, no no, umm.." She trailed

 

 

"Oh, sorry about that, I'm Tiffany by the way"

 

 

"Tiffany? Aren't you korean?"

 

 

"Well yes, I kind of came of the U.S so..."

 

 

"Nice to meet you" okay, why English?!

 

 

"Nice meeting you too" Tiffany answered back

 

 

"So, about your question earlier, nope, this kid here didn't kidnap me, in fact she even helped me" okay? What the hell are they talking about?

 

 

"Really? Be careful though, she's obsessed with you" Tiffany said and they started laughing

 

 

"Fany, I'm sure that if you ever tell her something bad about me I'll burn all your pinky pink things" I threatened in Italian, I can't have Jessica thinking that I'm a psyco now can I?

 

 

"Va bene(fine)" she agreed "Nice meeting you Jessica-ssi, remember my warning!" Then she dashed off

 

 

"You're friend is interesting"

 

 

"Yes, and I'm boring"

 

 

"What? No! I didn't mean it like that" I can sense panic in her voice

 

 

"Jessica-ssi, I was kidding"

 

 

"Jessica is fine, Taeyeon"

 

 

"Okay, Jessica, so, what do you wanna have?" I asked her, standing up

 

 

"You're paying?" She asked, her brows furrowed, I nodded at her. "I won't order" she stated, it was my turn to frown.

 

 

"May I ask why that is?"

 

 

"Taeyeon, I can't have you always spending for me, I feel-"

 

 

"Bad? Jessica, what day is it today?"

 

 

"The 9th, why? And it's your day"

 

 

"There you have it, so I'm basically treating you"

 

 

"But-"

 

 

"Jessica, do you have any idea when it is that we'll meet again?" I asked and she shook her head. "So please, just let me do this, this might be the first and last time that we meet and get to hang out like this" I said and smiled sadly, hoping for her to just let me be.

 

 

"Fine, but if we ever, as in ever meet again, it'll be my treat" she stated, making me smile, if huh?

 

 

"Okay, deal"

The day went on like that, then it was time for her to go back to the hotel as her flight is in the afternoon.

 

 

We were walking side by side, headed to the said hotel.

 

 

"Look Taeyeon, you're face is funny in this one!" She exclaimed, stiffling a laugh as she showed me a picture of us two.

 

 

"Tsktsk Jessica, that doesn't have a say in this one!" I countered and showed her my phone, her eyes widened at the sight.

 

 

"Yah! Delete that!" She demanded, I playfully stuck my tounge out and shook my head. "Taeyeon-ahhh" and she tried to reach over, of course, she was taller than me but I won't let her have it.

 

 

"Don't worry, I won't post it in IG" I reassured

 

 

"Fine, I'll be posting this" she said and showed me a picture when we were waiting for a ride near the café, she had Tiffany take it, so both of us were showing our back in the camera, it was a cute shot, and also my favorite as Jessica wore the coat I got for her, which was black, and my coat today was white, I was looking up and Jessica was looking down. A perfect shot indeed, but my picture of her back and our hands linked together is great too.

 

 

"I'll be posting that too" I said

 

 

"What? No! You copycat!" 

 

 

"Hey hey,I love this shot too!"

 

 

"Ugh fine, just because it's your day today!" She surrendered 

 

 

"This is the one right?" I asked and pointed to the Skyscaper in front of us, I heard her sigh. "What's with the deep sigh?"

 

 

"Just that, I don't wanna go yet" she confessed with a pout 

 

 

"Why not? You're a busy person, now go, you need to prepare for your flight" and I gently pushed her 

 

"Know what, you really like pushing me around" she whined

 

 

"I'm not, now go, before I kidnap you for real" I joked

 

 

"Fine, whatever" she then hugged me tight, hey heart, keep beating please? "I'll miss you"

 

 

"I'll miss you too, don't worry, I'll continue stalking your IG account" I played around and hugged her back, then I heard sniffing. "Don't cry"

 

 

"I'm not.." Then she buried her face down my neck. "We'll meet again won't we?" She asked

 

 

"Of course we will, it might take years, but I know we will, I always have your back, remember that, I'll beat up your haters don't worry" I told her, and let her go. "Now, see you soon Jessica" I said "I'll treasure this day till the moment I leave this world" and grinned at her

 

 

"I.. Me too!" She agreed, finally smiling, then I shooed her away. "Fine fine! See you soon Taeyeon, thankyou, this day will definitely leave a mark on my life, again, happy birthday" then she walked away.

 

 

When I saw her enter, I turned back, almost as if on cue, my tears flowed down my face, but I was smiling, this wasn't goodbye.

When I went home, I checked my IG, as Jessica has already posted a pic.
