"Seohyun-ah, my child can i talk to you  for a moment ?" Jun hyun called for seohyun's attention , as she seemed so out of it , spacing out since early in the morning

"Yes ? appa?" she ran to his side

"Is it true what i've been told? appa is kinda hurt that his princess didn't tell him before hand" he feigned a pout that made him look so adorable despite his age 

"What is it about ? i don't recall hiding anything from appa ?" she forwned slightly

"Hmm, i know i'm too old for this , but i would love to hear about my baby's love life from her , not from the other side" he grinned

"What are you talking about appa! i don't understand what lov-" 

"The jung madam called me this morning saying that you have something going on with her grandson and you both hid it from us , she wants us to interfer and do something about it" he kept a smug smile on his face "Aigoo you're all grown up" he pinched her cheek 

'Aish , not appa too , and why would geunhye halmony say that to appa, it's embarrassing' she thought 

"Uhm that's nonsense appaa~~" she whined

"That's supposed to be a secret by the way but i guess i spoiled it and told you, see ? appa doesn't hide anything from you , but you.." he acted dissapointed again

"Appa , chaebal don't be like that it's really nothing" she clang to his hand and slightly shook him 

"Still not saying anyting even after i knew this, even if told you that Yonghwa told me that you both are so inlove? and even discussing marriage ?" he laughed hard at her "Aigoo appa is so hurt" he faked a crying sound and left her dumbfounded but then walked back to her and handed her a polaroid picture, apparently a selca 

"Geunhye gave it to me! she found it in yonghwa's room!! it's embarrassing to find out about you daughter's romance just like that! And This story is not even new !! and here i am believeing your word that appa is the only man in your life! ouch?" then he really left

she really wonders how could her dad be so open in that matter and even joke about it , he really loves her and trusts her , and would never stand in the way if she choose to be happy 

she looked down at the polaroid she got in her hand, the sight she had seen next really made a huge knot in her stomach, it was a couple posing beautifully infront of the camera , the man was  yonghwa of course and the girl was...Her !!

to put it in simple words, that is not her , but that was definetly her face

her lips trembled as she inspected the picture further, it was no way it could be her and no way it could not be her as well , her knees weekened as she thought about possibilities, her eyes were filled with tears as she couldn't believe her own eyes

"W-who are you ?" she asked to the smiling girl in the polaroid

"What are you saying?" Il Woo asked her as she laid helplessly on the examination bed 

"Check my head juseyo" she seriousy said

"Waeyo? do you feel any pain? do you feel dizzy or something" he asked as he could feel her nervousness, he was a neuro surgeon and they were friends since she came here and they became close after he had done his internship at their clinic

"Aniyo, i want you to check for former surgeries, any traces of amnesia, concussion complications, or anything that could have happened to me and i don't remember or have no clue of" she determindely said

"Yah! are you sure that you're a doctor? are you aware what you're saying? there's no way anything could happen to you without your knowledge" he sighed and knew there's something bothering his friend, he took her hands and made her sit up 

"Now tell oppa what's bothering you?" he asked gently making her relax a bit 

she sighed

"So yonghwa-yah! i've been thinking of a small event, so i can introduce to our relatives and business partners, as you need to take over our business soon" Geunhye told yonghwa as they drank tea

"That soon?" he exclaimed

"The sooner the better" she tapped his hand slowly

"geurae, then let's do it! halmony" he smiled at her

'Can i meet yonghwa-ssi!?' they heard a woman voice ask at the door step, then some steps coming over to where they were sitting, the guest must be an aquaintance for the maid to let her in without permission

as she came closer they knew it was seohyun, Yonghwa smirked as he really expected this visit from her after waht he told her father about his intention to marry her, well he's indeed very angry at her for playing aronud with various men but he needed to tame her somehow, after all his love was stronger than his anger but at the very least he needs to teach her a lesson, all he needs to do is to keep her close at the mean time and the best thing to do right now is to marry her

he even went told his grandmother to talk to her father as well and he convinced her that they like each other but seohyun been shy about it, as for seohyun , he will find a way to make her agree to it sooner or later

"Hyunnie! you're here darling!" geunhye brightened up at the sight of seohyun

"Hello halmony, have you been well?" she asked while her eyes found yonghwa a locked his gaze

"I'm good, come here and sit with us" she invited and she complied

"I'm actually here to talk to Yonghwa-ssi, can i?" she asked politely

"Sure, sure, i'll be in the kitchen, i need to supervise the food making process" Geunhye said and rose to leave but not before giving a wink to her grandson

as she finally dissapeared into the huge mansion seohyun finally gave him her full attention as she blew up air out of her lips as of calming herself, and preparing her nerves for what's to come

"Can i... know what kind of nonesense happening around?" she went straight to the point

"majayo, a lot of NONESENSE is indeed happening, but i don't understand which one are you talking about" he feigned ignorance

"Hmm, there's a lot to talk about but let's start with the marriage thingy" she scrunchedd up her face like it's an impossible thing

"I'd like to start with that as well, and to tell the truth i'm not feeling secure, I feel like you'll keep wandering around with various men, and you would never look at me" he smirked , cclearly referring to the night he caught her in the club alley, but she didn't pay attention to his words, she has more to worry about

"So let it be how you want it" she stated calmly

"How?" he didn't get what she meant 

"Let's get married Jung Yonghwa" she looked into his eyes , and he was already lost in hers, he couldn't believe his own ears as she blurted the words gracefully, making his inside clench, 

He got back to his sense looking away for a second and smirking before looking back at her with a glare, He put his hand on the armrest of her wooden chair and pulled it with one hand, bringing her to his eye level, making her shiver but she couldn't look away

"What.the.hell.are.you.planning.now" he spat 

"Nothing, i'm just waving the white flag yonghwa-ssi! you're not leaving me alone, so i give up" she challenged him

"I'm not backing out either" 

"Call" she extended her hand for a handshake but he grabbed it and bit her fingers then got up shaking his head at how crazy and unpredictable she could be, leaving her dumbfounded 

"Has he lost his mind or what?" she huffed and rubbed her bitten fingers

she sighed at how helpless she feels right now, running away from yonghwa right now won't give her an clue of waht's really happening, she really needs to find out about the mysterious girl and how they're related

*two weeks later*

Seohyun was preparing for her wedding, it was as stressful as ever, they had decided to go through marriage directly because their parents are thinking they knew each other from before, and geunhye is too eager to hold her granchildren than to wait any longer

the elders seem too happy except for Mi Yeon, yonghwa's mother, as she learned that seohyun is the one who broke her son's heart and made him mop around for one whole year!

but what adds to her stress for now is tonight's event, it was held by the Jungs, Geunhye madam wanted to introduce her grandson to the world 

and of course as his wife-to-be she needs to be present as his date 

she looked at herself in the mirror and barely recognized herself, the simple but gorgeous tight dress she wore, the pretty high heels, the makeup and hair , didn't mask her beaty but made it stand out instead

she walked down the stairs, and her breath quickened at the sight of his back facing her in the living room, of course he would be there, to her 

her parents and her little sister mi hyun were coming as well but they would go in their own car

he was talking with her father when he heard her high heels clicking so he turned abruptly and met her sight that made him speechless and pretty much motionless 

she managed to walk up to him 

"Good evening yonghwa-ssi !" she rose her hand and slightly pushed his lower jaw up 

"A-ah! good evening seohyun-ah! l-let's go?" he stuttered and she giggled at his flustered face , he's almost blushing , taking his offered hand and walked gracefully alongside and they looked  if they were made precisely with every detail for each other

they rode his car silently after he helped her inside the car, as he fastened her seatbelt she could feel how he paused for a moment and breathed in her perfume then settled on his seat like he did nothing at all, but that mere moment took her breath away but she kept silence

as they arrived at the Jung Mansion, Seohyun was almost blinded with the amount of lights adorning the whole place like a Concert hall

Yonghwa casually came out of the car and ran to her side and opened the door for her and walked with her inside

he took an extra glance at her, she was breath taking, and so lady like, whenever he sees her it feels like his first time doing so ,
