“DaeHan-ah! I brought you yonghwa!” GeunHye spoke as she eyed the deceased man’s framed picture, while yonghwa silently sat     beside her in his dark black suit, and next to them was mi yeon

People came and went out after showing respect 

Seohyun who just came in was shocked to see yonghwa sitting beside Geunhye

“Omo! Seohyun-ah come in!” Geun hye waved at her, making the nervous girl walk slowly towards her

“Let me introduce you, Yonghwa! My grandson! Mi yeon my daughter in law” she introduced them, making seohyun gasp as she eyed yonghwa in shock, while he didn’t look up at her

Mi yeon who recognized her took her hand and rubbed it slightly, while seohyun nodded at her, still couldn’t look away from yonghwa, it seemed like impossible, to see him like that, how come she didn’t know that he was halmony’s grandson, why no one told her about that

“You must be shocked, I’ll explain to you everything, some other time” Geun Hye sensed the confusion on the girl’s face so she assured her

Yonghwa finally decided to raise his head and look at her “Oh where are my manners! I’m Jung Yonghwa, and you?” he smirked at her, pretending not to know her, extending his hand for her

She felt uneasy for his action, he must have something in mind, and she really thinks it’s a really bad think he’s got in store for her

She hastily took his hand “Seohyun, J-joo Seohyun imnida” she stuttered as he squeezed her hand a little bit too hard but without making anybody else feel or see it, then he let go

“Nice to meet you” he coldly said

“N-nice to meet you t-too” If his objective was to make her scared, then he succeeded because he’s scaring the hell out of her with his weird behavior

Just like that the day passed and the night fell, and It was time for Seohyun to go home,

“Halmony, I must go now, stay well” she bowed at her

“Oh, Seohyun-ah! Are you riding your car home?” Geunhye asked

“Aniyo! Appa got an urgent matter at the clinic so he took my car, he took aunt mi ryu and mi hyun my dongsaeng with him” she explained

“I can take you home!” Yonghwa interrupted

“That seems like a good idea!” Geunhye nodded

“Aniyo! Halmony, there’s no need I can take the bus” Seohyun declined

“I insist” yonghwa smiled coldly

“You are a girl hyun-ah! You shouldn’t wander alone at night, we really want to make sure you’re home safe” Mi Yeon in

She wanted to decline more but yonghwa already got up and ushered her outside so she had no power to protest anymore

He walked arrogantly past her leaving her behind, they walked silently to the parking lot, and she couldn’t bear with it anymore so she stopped on her track

“What are you up to?” She asked a little bit too loud

“Taking you home” he shrugged

“You know what I mean yonghwa-ssi! What is all this?” she nervously asked

“Hmm! You can say that I’m so into you, so I turned myself into a chaebol so your highness could acknowledge and accept me” he laughed sarcastically

She held her temple in distress

“Now I pity you yonghwa! Why don’t you just get over it” she shook her head, but in instant she was pinned over the car door

“Over it? If I could get over it, then I would’ve done it throughout the whole year I’ve waited and looked for you! I’m never leaving you Joo Seohyun, I’m gonna make you pay for every second I’ve spent, mourning over you, for every tear I shed for you” he venomously said to her

She pushed him and started walking away “forget it, I’m going by myself” she mumbled but he held her back and forcefully dragged her to the car, opening the door and pushing her inside and ran to the other side

“Let me out, I don’t want to go with you” she protested and wanted to open the car door but he, swiftly cluck the car lock on, trapping her

“Why are you doing this to me? You have no heart! How could you?” she was so frightened

“I do it to you, the same way you did it to me” he bitterly said as he started driving the car

“But I did nothing to you” she mumbled

“YOU DID! Oh believe me you did, and you hurt me so bad, it’s me who should wonder if you have a heart or not! You destroyed me Seohyun, you broke me” he hit the left side of his chest right above his heart as he shouted at her

She no longer held her tears and started crying, soon enough her small cries turned to painful sobs

“Stop crying!” he impatiently ordered her but she didn’t comply instead it turned worse, he parked on the road side

“I SAID STOP CRYING” he shouted at her

“Y-yonghwa c-chaebal, let me go” she begged and caged her face in her hands as she cried harder

“KEUMAN-HAEE!!” he couldn’t bear seeing her like that, so he tears her hands of her face and pulled her for a violent kiss, she immediately stilled and closed her eyes but small tears still dripped out of her eyes while he on her lower lip passionately, holding her close securely, he feared he might lose his control so he released her, pushing away the fat tears that fell on her cheeks

“Just stop crying” he calmly said without looking at her

He continued driving till he reached her home, the ride was so silent and he didn’t need to ask her because he already knew where she lives, as he stopped in front of her gate, she quickly got off and entered her house without even looking back, he leaned his head on the steering wheel

“Ugh! Why is so hard to hold a grudge against you?” he sighed “While you’ve done all that to me”

{Next morning}

Yonghwa was eating breakfast with his mother and grandmother; they were too absorbed in their conversation since they had a lot of catching up to do, it’s been just one day and few hours since they’ve reunited but they kind of got into the familial atmosphere and could act comfortably around each other

“Yonghwa-yah! When are you going to start running your business?” Geun hye lovingly stared at him

“My business! H-halmony I’m not yet used to that, you know-”

“I know dear, but you must get used to it, your grandfather left our malls and hotels all to you, I’m sure you are the best one to run our business well, The ministry position went to my brother in law since he’s been in the field for so long, and it’s been so tiring for your grandfather, it took a lot of his time, I’m sure you would like to get married and make a family on your own, so I didn’t want to drawn you on that” geunhye explained

“I appreciate that of you halmony, I have no idea about how the ministry works out! It surely would’ve been so difficult for me” he awkwardly said

Seohyun was still so weak after what transpired between her and yonghwa last night; she was so drained at work and didn’t have her usual lively spirit

She was hardly pushed by her father to go eat lunch outside and he would continue the work on his own

She didn’t take her car and just walked aimlessly, she didn’t even have the appetite to eat anything, arriving in front of a coffee shop she could see her little sister sitting with the same boy from before, so she decided to intervene and put an end for all of this, she couldn’t bear it if anyone played with her baby sister’s heart

She entered the coffee shop and stood before them

“U-unnie?” Mi Hyun was shocked to see her unnie like that

“Mi hyun-ah! Go home!” she sternly looked at her sister

“But unn-”

“I said go home! Now” she slightly raised her voice

Mi Hyun pouted and hurriedly left the coffee shop but not before shotting Woo hyun a worried look

“Then I should go too” Woohyun awkwardly said and wanted to leave

“No you’re staying” she coldly said making the poor guy sit back down immediately

“Your name?”

“Woohyun, Nam Woohyun” he answered

“So Woohyun-ssi! Since when you’re seeing my sister?” she went straight to the point

“T-Two years” he honestly answered

“For T-two whole years and I don’t know about this?” she frowned “Okay how old are you?” she asked again

“24 years”

“Oh! We’re at the same age? Do you know how old is Mi Hyun? She’s freaking 17” she slightly got mad

“I know, but I really love her, and I’m serious about her! I’m ready to wait for her as long as she wants, I just can’t live without her, please don’t stop us” he pleaded

She sighed “What am I going to do now!” she crossed her hands over her chest

“Please, Seohyun-ssi! Don’t separate us, I really can’t live without her! I’ll behave I promise” he begged

“Okay I’ll let you be together” she said making him widen his eyes in happiness

“But” she continued “You must let her finish her school first” she simply said

“Just that?” he asked in disbelief and she nodded “I was going to do that anyway” he proudly said and laughed, taking her hand in his “I really appreciate this from you Seohyun-ssi! I will never forget your favor” he happily squeezed her hand and she smiled slightly at him

“Uhm! I have something to give her” he rummaged his pocket and took out a blue velvet box and put it in front of her, she took it and opened it, it was a diamond ring, she gasped and covered in shock

“A-are you proposing to my sister? But she’s still-” he cut her off

“Still a baby I know! It’s not really a proposal! I want to call it a promise ring at the moment” he explained

“Promise? What do you mean?”

“You see Seohyun-ssi, I’m going to military one week later! I actually met Mi Hyun today to bid my farewell and give her this, but didn’t get the chance to do it” he scratched the back of his head earning a guilty look from Seohyun

“I’m so sorry Woohyun-ssi! I’m kind of burdened these days and I was so worried about Mi Hyun so I carelessly taken my stress all on you two, I didn’t know about your good intentions” she apologetically said

“Aniyo, don’t be upset Seohyun-ssi, I actually see it a good opportunity to meet each other and talk, at least I knew your worries and cleared the misunderstanding, this way it feels lighter to meet Mi hyun! So do I have your blessing?” he asked playfully

“We’ll talk about that two years later mister, I’ll give her this ring, and I bet she’s so upset right now thinking that might have eaten you alive” she stuffing the ring box in her bag laughingly and he joined her

“Oh I should go now! Seohyun-ssi! I have loads of work to do before my enlistment, it was nice meeting you” he extended his hand for a shake and she accepted it

“It was nice meeting you too, be safe” she nodded at him

He left and she decided to eat something before leaving but seems like heaven was not on her side that day, as out of all places, Yonghwa decided to be there, and he didn’t look pleased at all

“You-” she gasped

“Wow I already knew that you’re this kind of women, but didn’t know that you can find new victims this fast” he shook his head
