“Remi… Remz… REMI !!!” A loud voice yelled shocking Remi out of her reverie

“Huh?” She said as he head shot up and she looked around before blushing as she saw that Lexia, Sanaai and their friend Joy were looking at her in confusion “Sorry I was just day dreaming.”

“What about?” Joy asked as she pushed her glasses further up her pert nose

Remi just shook her head too embarrassed to let on to her thoughts

“I bet it was about a guy” Sanaai said with a snicker

Remi’s head shot up to look at her. Had she been that obvious?

“Yes of course we know you were thinking of a guy” Lexia said with an eye roll as she looked at her friend

“I bet it was a certain y officer” Sanaai sang as she looked over at her friend who was trying to play it off

“W...Which officer is that?” She said as she started playing with her phone

Sanaai just rolled her eyes before snatching the phone away “ A certain y officer who was pretty much staking his claim on your body when we went out last weekend”

“Woah woah woah. What happened?” Joy said since she hadn’t been told about any of this

“Last Sunday when we went out, while SOMEBODY had to study for their midterm, we got stranded so we found a nice big y officer to take us home” Sanaai quipped “A Mr.Officer who only had eyes for our Remi”

Remi rolled her eyes “He did not… He was being polite. Especially after you two started interrogating him” She finished with an accusing glare at her friends

They just smirked before Lexia spoke “Mhmmm is that why he asked you out on a date?”

“He did no such thing.” Remi said “He asked me for a walk. That is not a date”

“I hate to break it to you,Sugarfoot , but round these here parts that’s a date” Lexia said as she twirled her fiery locks and skipped around her playful

“Whatever” Remi said “Besides if he supposedly liked me why hasn’t he been back? It’s been a while”

“Does someone miss their beau in blue?” Lexia sang as Sanaai and Joy laughed

“You guys are so annoying” Remi said as she chuckled and they walked to Remi’s dorm building. They were going to have a girls night in and order take out

“But seriously Remi I’m sure he’ll come to call on you soon. It’s only been like 4 days”Joy said amused

“It’s whatever” Remi said trying for cool and aloof

The three other girls looked over her head in amusement

They were still amused as they walked into the building and stopped. PK was just sitting in the lounge area relaxing and looking around.

There were a couple of girls who lived in the all girls building who kept stealing looks at him but he seemed to be too concerned with his search to notice. As soon as Remi came through the door his face lit up and he was on his feet walking over to her

Remi had to stop and make sure she didn’t let fall open in shock. When he’d drove them home she’d seen how handsome he was but that had been at night. Now here it was in the day time and he looked amazing. His dimples seemed to be deeper than they’d been before and his smile was brighter and bigger. His body looked different now that it was not in the uniform that it had been before. He shouldn’t have looked that good in only a pair of casual navy jeans, some brown suede oxford boots, a plain white tee and a beat up brown vintage leather jacket. It was a simple style yet on his tall and slightly muscular lean body it was lethal.

He got up to her and her head had to crane up just like it had when she’d seen him on that night but this time it seemed like he was taller, bigger, larger… just more.

“Hi Ms.Remi” PK said with a smile as he stopped in front of her.

“H-H-H.. Hi” She said hesitantly as she looked at him trying to figure out what to do. She’d expected him not to come back

“I came to collect on that walk if it would be okay” He said with another of his dimple filled grins

“I … I … Uh. Well I don’t know” She said hesitantly “I promised the girls a movie night-”

PK looked in shock to even see people around Remi. He’d been so focused on her that he’d pretty much blocked out the other people “Oh I am so sorry… I didn’t even notice .”

“Mhmm I bet you didn't ” Sanaai mumbled out amused

“I’m sorry ladies that was my fault” He said with a contrite smile even though his gaze stayed on Remi who was nibbling her lip and looking at her friends nervously. Girl code didn’t permit her ditching her friends for a guy

“It’s okay Officer PK” She said with  smirk “We can tell your mind was elsewhere”

He just grinned before turning to Remi

“I think we may have to postpon-”

“Remi you’re back” Maudine said with her signature scowl as she barreled towards them

“Ye… yes Ms.Fitzpatrick. My class just ended”

Maudine just rolled her eyes “Well you should have come sooner. This officer has been waiting to talk to you. What kind of crime did you commit?”

Remi’s mouth dropped in shock before she stammered out “H...huh?”

“Why would that even be your first question anyways? He’s in civilian clothing” Lexia said with a scowl

“Ma’am I'm here to take Remi out ” PK said as he tried to smooth things over since he could see Lexia, Sanaai and their friend was getting annoyed

“A date ?! On a school night… that is highly inappropriate behavior for a student …. Especially a student who is supposed to be responsible and show exemplary actions for -”

“Oh my God Ms.Maudine she’s going to be gone for like 6 hours tops. Its freaking 4 pm. She’s going to probably be back before kids who have night classes” Joy snapped finally having enough of her bull

Everyone looked over at the usually quiet Joy who had just said that

“Well I...I...I never” Maudine sputtered out

“I can see that…. That's why you have such a huge stick up your now ” Lexia said under her breath

Maudine’s face got even more red at her words before she huffed “Just go on your stupid date. But be back by 10. You have responsibilities still”

“Someone is living up to the bitter spinster stereotype” Lexia stage whispered

Maudine’s shoulders tensed but she kept walking.

“She's going to have it in for me now” Remi sighed softly.

“Don’t worry.” Lexia quipped out happily “I’m sure our big handsome officer here can protect you”

Remi blushed even as PK chuckled

“Thank you Ms. Lexia. I hope it’s okay that I steal her away for a few hours.”

“It is absolutely fine” Joy said as she pushed Remi towards him “Besides we’ll just be in her room ordering takeout and watching America's Next Top Model reruns without her. She isn’t missing much”

“Are you sure?” He asked even as he was already pulling her closer to him almost as if he was scared they would yank her away from him

“Boy if you don’t take this girl out on a date” Sanaai said as she pushed a twist out of her face

“It’s not a date” She started

At the same time he grinned and said “I’ll make sure she enjoys herself”

Remi started before looking at him “Wait this is a date?”

They all looked at her in confusion before Sanaai spoke “Duh”

“But I thought you wanted to work out” She said as she looked at PK

“Work out?” He asked as his face started to mimic hers in confusion

“We’re going for a walk right?”

PK chuckled as he looked at her “Oh … Yes a walk. I asked you for a walk as a date maybe”

Remi hesitated before nodding “Oh…. But wait”

“Oh my God Remi why all these questions?” Lexia moaned out

“But wait I don’t understand”

“Obviously” Sanaai said as she pulled Joy and Lexia away so she and PK could talk

“I don’t understand” She said looking at him “This is a date?”

“Yes a date” He said in amusement

“Why are you asking me out on a date?” She said as she eyed him suspiciously

“...Because I like you?”

“You don’t even know me”She scoffed

“I’d like to learn about you on this date”

She just star
