07. Welcome to My Wild World
The world was wild and crazy; that’s one thing Jaejoong was sure after living his 30 years old life. Some might live a happy life without any money and some might live a cursed rich life. It all depended on how you made your way to the world.
Jaejoong remembered once he was a naïve teenager who tried his best to prove his singing ability. He could sing and he would prove that. Yes, he did. He even debuted in one of the most successful idol group in Kpop history. Too bad nothing was eternal.
Things started to become endless and Jaejoong lost his way. He was lucky he wasn’t alone; he was fighting with Yoochun and Junsu by his side. How he wished Yunho and Changmin would come but he knew they had their reasons. Deep down, he was sure nothing would break the bond five of them had formed; not even some corrupted company or money.
He was right. It took a while but he eventually talked to Yunho and Changmin. Both of them had been an important part in his life. Just like how music had to. Through music, he stood on the same stage with Yunho again, even after the break up. He was on the lower stage and Yunho was behind him; it’s still technically the same stage; military performance stage. Jaejoong still couldn’t shake his smiling face when their YunJae fans made the event went viral.
Their life had been an endless game. They had to swallow every pain, tears, and strain without saying anything back. Yet, now, Jaejoong was free with nothing to be afraid of and there’s no need to hide anymore. He would blow everything up and he knew he could do it.
Jaejoong wasn’t a naïve teenage boy anymore, he was a man now. He would get up if he fell down like he always did. He would keep his eyes sharp for every opportunity and he knew his sweat and hard work would be paid. He had his experience.
Now he could be honest and there’s nothing to lose; he didn’t have any prison to go back to. He had burned all those painful cage and strain. He would repeat it even until blood wrapping around the tip of his tongue.
His memories and past wouldn’t change but he knew he was fine now.
Yes he’s more than fine.
Kim Jaejoong would show the world his wild world.
He knew no one would be able to understand it like him but he wanted to share a glimpse of it. He wanted people to fight and not give up like he did. Because look at him now, he’s fine. He’s Kim Jaejoong; no more no less.
