“Uh, Junhyung?” Gikwang began, poking the plastic bag that the rapper had placed at the grave.
“What?”
“Most people don’t leave meat and ice cream as offerings,” says Doojoon, chuckling. “But then again . . .”
“Won’t ants and bugs—“ Dongwoon shudders. “Ants. Bugs. Ew.”
“It’ll all be gone before the bugs realize it was here. Hyunseung will probably swallow the bones, too,” laughs Yoseob. “Then he’ll scarf the ice cream and roll off to bed.”
Junhyung rolls his eyes. “Whatever. Are you guys going to make him eat alone?”
As they sat and ate, Junhyung stared at Hyunseung’s photo. Snorting softly, he closes his eyes.
“Sorry, but I love you more.”
Then he smiled, content as he finally said the words that he’d meant to say to Hyunseung.
“What was that, hyung?” Dongwoon asked, glancing over at him.
“Nothing!”
