Key came in. "Taemin? Is that you?"

Taemin froze. He didn't want Key to see him like this either. 

"Are you okay?" Key asked. 

"Y-yeah.... I’m fine..." Taemin said. 

"I know you're not, come on out."

Taemin slowly came out. His eyes were red and puffy from crying and he still had tears falling down his cheeks. 

Key hugged him. "What's wrong?"

Taemin looked at his hands. "I-it's nothing..." 

"It isn't." Key said wiping his eyes. 

Taemin looked at him. "Do you remember the guy I have to help?" 

Key nodded. 

Taemin explained what happened two years ago before he met Key and who Minho was. 

"Oh... I see."

Taemin sniffled. "I don't know what to do. He hurt me so much.... but.... I still love him..." 

"Do you want to get back together with him?" 

"I-I don't know. I'm scared too. Every time I see him, I want to jump into his arms and feel his warmth again but.... what if he leaves again?" Taemin said. 

"You have to choose what you want." 

 

"I don't know what I want." Taemin cried. "Sometimes I want him to be next to me and hold me.... but then there's times where I don't want to even look at him. But I still love him..." 

"It's okay." Key said. "He hurt you, you don't have to love him again. But forgive him. For yourself."

Taemin looked at his hands. "How do I forgive him?" 

 "Let go of your anger."

Taemin nodded. "Okay..." He sniffled. "I should go talk to him..." 

"Okay." 

Taemin slowly went back to the nurse's room. 

 

Minho wasn't in the nurse's office. 

 

"His mom picked him up." The nurse said.

Taemin frowned. "Oh...." He went back to class slowly. 'What if he hates me now?' 

 

 

 

The rest of the day went by quickly. Key picked up his sister and went to Jonghyun’s classroom. 

Jonghyun smiled. "Hello, Key." 

Key blushed. "Hey." 

Jonghyun pulled a chair next to him. "Come sit." 

Key nodded and sat down. 

 

"Hungry, Oppa!" Hana pouted. 

Jonghyun smiled. He went through his drawer and pulled out a granola bar. "Can she have these?" 

Key smiled weakly. "Thank you." 

 

He opened one up and let her eat it. 

Jonghyun gave Key one too. 

Key ate it. He was so hungry. All he had today was Taemin's potato. 

 

Jonghyun frowned. "Have you not eaten today?" 

"I-I forgot my lunch at home."

"That's not good. How about I treat you and your sister to dinner? I'll call your uncle and ask if it's okay." Jonghyun said. 

"You can't... He's working right now. He won't answer. We're fine..." 

"No I insist. I'll take you out if you think he'll be okay with it." Jonghyun said. 

"Okay... He would be." Key said. 

Jonghyun nodded. "Okay." 

Key smiled. "Thank you." 

"No problem." Jonghyun took him to a nice restaurant. He got a booster seat for Hana. "Get whatever you want." 

Key frowned. "It's so expensive."

"It's okay." Jonghyun smiled. 

Key nodded. "We can share a plate." 

 

Jonghyun shook his head. "You both can get your own. If you have extras, then you can take them home." 

"Okay..." Key said. He ordered pasta for himself and chicken tenders for Hana. 

"I'll get something for your uncle too." Jonghyun said. 

Key nodded. He ordered some more pasta. 

Jonghyun smiled and ordered. "So how is your uncle?" 

"He's good."

"That's good." Jonghyun smiled. 

Key nodded. 

"Are you doing okay?" Jonghyun asked. 

Key nodded. "Yes."

"I'm glad. You're such a strong kid." Jonghyun ruffled his hair. 

Key blushed. 

Jonghyun frowned. "Your face is red. Do you have a fever?" He laid his hand against Key's forehead. 

"I-I'm okay."

Jonghyun frowned. "You're not warm. Hmm..." He placed his hand on Key's cheek. "Well, you're not warm." He pulled his hand away. 

The waitress dropped off their drinks and appetizers. Key put Hana's drink into a sippy cup.  Hana smiled and drank happily. 

 

Jonghyun smiled. "You're a good big brother." 

Key smiled. "She means everything to me. I know she's my sister but she feels like my daughter."

"That's good. You'll be a good husband one day." Jonghyun smiled. "Whoever marries you will be very lucky." 

Key blushed. He fed Hana some of the spring rolls. He had to cut them up for her. 

Jonghyun smiled. He grabbed some of Key's food and held it to his lips. "I'll feed you since you're feeding her. I don't want the spring rolls cold when you eat them." 

Key blushed and ate. 

Jonghyun smiled. 'He's really cute. Wait...I can't think that. I'm a teacher and he's my student...' 

Their food came and Key cut up Hana's food. 

 

Jonghyun smiled and ate. 

Key ate his food as Hana fed herself. 

Jonghyun smiled. 

Key smiled back. "Thank you so much, Mr. Kim."

 

"Key, call me Jonghyun, remember?" Jonghyun smiled. 

"O-Ok." Key said. He ate most of his food. 

Jonghyun smiled. "You're so cute." He then froze. "Oh, I'm sorry. I shouldn't say that. I meant as a little kid way. I don't want you to feel awkward around me." 

Key blushed. "Oh."

Jonghyun went back to eating. 

Hana ate all her food. Key let her eat the rest of his food. 

Jonghyun smiled. 

She finished. 

Jonghyun smiled. "Do you want dessert?" 

"Cake?!" Hana smiled. 

"Okay. Chocolate?" Jonghyun smiled. 

"Cake!!" Hana giggled. 

"You don't have to." Key said. 

"It's okay. I want too." Jonghyun smiled. 

Key smiled. "Her favorite is strawberry. It's mine too." 

Jonghyun nodded. "Strawberry cake it is!" He ordered a big strawberry cake. 

Key his lips. 

Jonghyun smiled. Once the cake arrived, he cut everyone big pieces. "The leftovers you can keep, okay?" 

"Okay." Key smiled. He ate the cake happily. 

Jonghyun smiled. He ate his piece. 

Hana ate her cake with her fingers. She was smiling happily. 

Jonghyun chuckled at her. "You'll need a bath later. Sorry Key." 

"Oh, yeah..." Key frowned. They didn't have a working shower. They just used Taemin's when They would sleepover on the weekend. 

 

Jonghyun frowned. "What's wrong?" 

"Nothing... she just doesn't like baths." Key said. 

"Do you want me to help? You can come over to my house and use my bath. I have some toys my nieces use when they come over that help them not think about the bath." Jonghyun said. "If you're comfortable with that." 

"N-No it's okay." Key said. "It's getting late. We should get going."

Jonghyun nodded. "Okay. I'll take you home. Where do you live?" 

"No, it's okay. We're meeting up with my uncle at his work." 

Jonghyun nodded. "Okay. I'll see you in class." He gave Key the bag with the cake in it. 

Key nodded. He took the food and hugged Jonghyun. "Thank you." 

Jonghyun smiled and hugged back. "You're very welcome." 

Key smiled. He picked up Hana and left. 

Jonghyun left too.
