"Okay, you can open your eyes and look now," Seyoung whispers with bated breath. She is standing with her back turned to the mirror, her body turned towards the couch where her fiancé is sitting.
She is nervous while awaiting Chanyeol's response, knowing that no matter what he says, she will still insist on wearing this dress and no other. It's like love at first sight, her heart beating a bit quicker and louder for a while. She can't ignore her feelings, just like so many other people who live with their heart leading their way, not their calculating brain. Of course, if Chanyeol loved this dress as much as she did, Seyoung would be happier, but he can disagree with her, like on so many other things they disagreed. Somehow, they've always managed to find some compromise.
"It's.... wow."
Seyoung giggles, nervosity leaving her system as her laughter fills the room. Chanyeol is grinning at her, cheeks pink. He must be flustered for sounding so unintelligible, but his girlfriend doesn't mind. She's happy to see him speechless - a positive reaction.
"It's this one and no other, I know it," Seyoung whispers as she takes little steps towards her fiancé who is still sitting there, unmoving, as if he just froze to ice. Only his eyes are following her every move, and just for show, Seyoung twirls around once and twice.
