Changmin and Kyungsoo sat on opposite end of the table, the situation being awkward for both of them. After taking a deep breath, Kyungsoo was the first to speak.

‘I know that you confessed your feelings to her.”

Changmin looks perplexed but seems to have a calm settle over him, “I just want to spend these last few months with her, loving her. I know I just wanted to have her by my side, but as time went one I got greedy and I couldn’t help for more.”

Changmin pauses thinking, “I know it’s selfish. But I guess it was all in vain and I brought this onto myself, she wants nothing to do with me.”

“I can understand how you feel, I really do. I don’t hate you because of it; if I did I wouldn’t have ever let her come here in the first place. I want to help you, but ultimately it’s going to be her choice so I am not going to force her to do anything, but I’m willing to give this a try.”

“You’re going to help me?” Changmin looks up surprised.

“I am not going to help you; I’m just giving you a fair chance to achieve what you want.”

“He asked about you again today.” Kyungsoo says as he set down his things on the coffee table and sat down next to Sally.

“I don’t care.”

“I think you should go see him, at least talk about it.”

“AND encourage his feelings?”

“No, but…”

“Not you too! You’re supposed to be on my side.”

Kyungsoo couldn’t reply; no one would think that a boyfriend would encourage his girl friend to go and see man that he knows is in love with his girl friend. But the situation was a lot more completed than that.

“I am on your side!”

“How is that being on my side?”

“I am just-’

“Doesn’t it bother you that he confessed?”

Kyungsoo couldn’t reply; of course it does but he knew better.
“Well it bothers me that my boyfriend doesn’t seem to care about what I think either.”

Sally got up and went to her room and slammed her door shut extra loudly.

It’s not that Kyungsoo doesn’t care; it’s just that he knows that it would bother her more that if she didn’t go to see Changmin.

A few weeks later, things settled back to a strange sense of normalcy. A summer festival was taking place by a local park and Jaejoong and Kyungsoo convinced Sally that she had to come with the promise that there was good food and a fun time. The three of them stood by the entrance of the park chatting when her face fell.

“What is her doing here?” She says when she spots Changmin walking towards them.

“Be nice, Kyungsoo invited him.”

“Come on! Doesn’t either one of you care even a little bit about how I feel?’

‘I care a lot.” Kyungsoo answers seriously.

“Then why are you forcing this? What’s your problem? Do you want me to develop feelings for him? Don’t you mind?” Sally storms of, Kyungsoo catches her.

“Leave me alone!!!” She yells as she breaks into a run.

Kyungsoo loses sight of her and after half an hour he finally meets back up with Jaejoong.

“Can’t find her.”

Sally ran until she was out of breath, and she finally stopped and catches her breath. What is going on in their mind? Why can’t they think? When Sally finally is able to breathe better she notices that she had no idea where she is. She scans the crowd and almost starts running when she’s Changmin’s face in the crowd, but when she does a double take, he is gone.

“I must have imagined it.”

She turned to walk away when a pair of arms comes around her waist with immense strength.

Sally panics for a second until she recognizes the arms.

“Don’t run away from me.”

“Then don’t force me to.”

“I’m sorry….” Kyungsoo sighs as he turns Sally around in her arms. “I know how you feel about him but I can’t help it. He doesn’t have much time left.”

Sally does a quick count in his head; 2 months have already passes and that would mean there is only about 4 months left if they are lucky and Sally couldn’t help but feel regret for the potential lost. Time had passed so quickly, Sally kind of forgot that his time was so limited.

“No… you’re right too… I just- I’m sorry too.”

“It’s ok, I understand. I don’t expect you to be friends with him again or anything else like that, I just wish that you would speak to him.”

“Where is he now?”

“He left soon after he told me where to find you.”

So she didn’t see wrong, and sally couldn’t help but feel a little guilty.
