kriswu is studying in canada when he is suddenly called back to china by his mum just a year into his studies. He was called back to china due to his fathers illness. He arrives at china meeting a janitor at the airport, hwang zi tao. His father was suffering from a heart disease and urgently needed to be treated,due to this his mother sold the family's company. He later finds out that the janitoemr he met at the airport was a neighbourhood of the house opposite theirs. kriswu is a gangster and also faces critical hardships making him unable to pursue his ambition.
