I saw you sitting alone. I kept my distance too shy to come close. You lift your  pretty face, and saw me from the distance. Our eyes meet and was mesmerized how beautiful they are. I blushed and looked away.

Why am I like this? I don't have the courage to approach her. She is my goddess. The light, my star, my sun, my all. 

I have to man up. I gathered all the courage I can get, I even prayed for divine intervention. 

I practiced what to say and how to say it. When I was brave enough, she was no longer there on her spot. I looked around and saw her entered her car.

I walked home feeling down and depressed.

That night, while I was lying in bed I recall what happened earlier. What if I approached you?  What if I say hi? If only I was brave enough to come close. One step at a time. Baby steps and maybe just maybe you will notice me.

Bright eyes looking at the ceiling. Tossing and turning can't sleep nor think straight. 

A certain guy is clouding my mind. Silly smile, red lips, brown eyes that don't notice me.

What if I talk to him first? Will that be unlady like? Will he think of me as too aggressive? If only I am brave enough.
