Ga nabi wasn't the one to break the law. She didn't go by the usual motto of teenagers -rules are made to be broken-. however she did steal a book from the local library once in the third grade of middle school. but here she was, jogging around in the maze called seoul with no destination in mind. no parents to look over her and no one to share her misery with. did she make the right decision? her mother wouldn't be home in a few hours so she did have the chance to back out. to go back to her cage and swallow the key, to tie the usual rope around her neck that will bear the constant threat of killing her if she takes the wrong step. the girl with a cap and a hoodie didn't make anyone that walked past interested in knowing who she was, why she was there and the incredible feeling of confusion that filled the girl's head. why did her parents worry about this? the only dangerous thing that the girl could see was the rushing traffic and this mass wouldn't be a bit interested in harming someone like her. So why fear? clutching the straps to her backpack,

the girl squeezed herself forward into the mass of people. Some was wearing suits probably going to work, some groups that made awfully a lot of noise clinging to eachother and laughing and some couple that didn't care for the people around them and connected in a loving kiss. but that kiss was interrupted by a loud shout. "stop, this is the police!" Panic surfaced to Nabi's eyes. Did her parents discover her missing already? her body began to turn in the opposite direction. before she had the opportunity to run away a human being ran past her, the police following soon after. it felt like a stone was lifted from the girl in the hoodie's heart. They weren't after her after all. it seemed like the people around her were used to this part in their daily life as they just kept on walking. Whispers and gossips replaced the cheery talk of the group

"is that the rebel that's been roaming around here lately?" "yeah i've heard that he even nearly beat a nightguard to death for discovering him when he was painting some on a wall" "disgusting, that avant monet guy" the girl gulped, is there really people like that in the world? but wait.. nabi have heard that name before, atleast the latter. she frowned, wasn't that the french or spanish painter that haejin wouldn't stop talking that dreamingly about? Maybe not. But what are those people talking about someone they don't know? in rage the girl turned around to the group, the group consisted of four girls. All atleast in their twenties with expensive clothing, designer handbags in their hands and an excessive amount of makeup that decorated their faces. "what do you know about that guy that makes you so clever and well informed that you can talk about him?" the girls looked at her with eyes of disgust and the one standing in the middle scoffed at the girl in the hoodie stating that little girls like her shouldn't get her nose wet, glared at her and just walked away. Leaving nabi dumbfounded on the street with a scowl on her face.

the sun is a wonderful thing honestly. going up to show everyone that it's a new day and going down to tell everyone to sleep. for those who had a home this manic thing that happens everyday is a glorious clock but what about those who doesn't? those who doesn't have a warm bed to sleep in when the sun goes down. those who doesn't have a family to greet them when they wake up. the sun were beginning to go down over the city of seoul. nabi's feet hurt of the long walk, her stomach screaming for something to digest. with her head hung low she walked and walked ignoring the screams of her stomach untill she heard a familiar tune. that tune that always made her calm, that ffamiliar and welcoming tune of that old indie music that hoseok used to play. saying that it reminded him of when he got married. Nabi smiled at the memory, remembering the dreamy voice hoseok had when he told the story her and her friends one day when the café was full and he really had other things to do then to play storyteller.

the sound of a door bell when someone entered a shop was heard and the marvelous aroma of carrot cake and bread filled the streets. looking up form her shoes the girl found herself outside the place she has been longing for. The smoking rabbit. the place where her and her friends had spent so many times at joking and talking about whatever that came to their minds. With a hesitant mind the girl took hold of the door knob and pushed the door open. hurrying to pull down the cap on her head so that no one would know who she was. not that anyone would remeber her. walking up to the counter with careful steps, she was glad that it wasn't hoseok that stood there but a normal worker. "two baguettes to go and a carrot cake, please" "do you want to eat here or?" The clearly annoyed worker asked."here please ummm.." Not seeing hoseok anywhere made the girl wonder, he would always hang around in the café even though he wasn't working."yes?""where's the owner? he's usually here" the worker sighed "it seems like you haven't been here often lately, song hoseok passed away in a car crash a few months ago. it's his wife that takes care of everything now" Dropping her father's wallet to the ground when hearing the news, nabi couldn't believe what she heard. Hoseok dead? that can't be. "so are you going to pay or not?I'm clearly busy and don't have time to play storyteller with you" handing over the bills to the girl and reciving the change happened in a blur. so did walking to the usual table by the window, sitting down and taking the first bite of the carrot cake. the taste was terrific, fantastic, grand it was every nice word you could descirbe it with. The taste of pecans, cinnamon and carrots combined to make a heavenly piece of dessert.

while stuffing with cake nabi observed the table. the small scribblings that her friends had written through the years were still there. "120311 was the day that minah talked to prince charming for the first time" "yoo junseo is a mute no i'm not!yes he is" "Jo woori was here!" "kwak inna + coffee = true" "i think elephants should be allowed to fly" "tick tak tick tak, let's tickle tak!" "Nabi will someday commit a murder by glaring at someone" She laughed at all the writings. Where were they now? where they living the dreams that they wanted to live or did they have a worse life than what she had?. she felt a lump in as she's about to cry but no tears came out as if there was something blocking her tears from welling up. with an empty plate and a full stomach the girl stood up from her seat. her eyes as empty as the plate. she escaped the café and entered a even scarier setting. the night life in hongdae. full of drunk people, people walking out of clubs, people looking for hookers to . it was a friday night after all. the plasticbag with baguettes softly bounced on her leg as she walked. laughter filled the streets, a man could be seen puking over a flowerpot and girls with all to short dresses had some guy's arm around their shoulders. with no place in mind nabi caught a cab asking the driver to take her to the train station. she didn't know where she would go but to take the train was a good beginning. the dirve was silent no one dared to speak a word. The driver tried to talk at the start of the journey but nabi just ignored him. she could clearly hear that the man was intoxicated by the way he talked but nabi couldn't care less. maybe it would be for the better if the driver crashed and she died. it's not like there is something to miss or someone that would miss her anyway.

she miraculously survived the cab ride and payed the driver. she paid him less than what he asked but he's to drunk to even realise that. walking into the station and towards the rails, not buying a ticket just yet. there wasn't anyone by the rails when she arrived. the night train wouldn't leave for another hour and no one wanted to stand there in useless waiting. Nabi looked around to really confirm that there was no one around and jumped down on the trails. why she did that will forever be a question. she doesn't even know herself. she started walking, the few lightpost and the moon as her only source of light. did she enjoy the rush of that she could get killed anytime by a train. she walked and she walked but no train would come and end her life. but as she walked she could feel the the block by her eyes start to crumble. one tear after another started to fall. she tried to wipe them away with the sleeve of her hoodie but it seemed as the more she wiped the more tears fell. the frustration, the despiration and the sorrow she had been feeling all these years piled up to this moment. screams of hatered filled the air. She was angry at no one in particular, at everything, at herself "why don't someone just kill me already?!""come on!come at me with all you got!"tears flooded her cheeks. hatered and sorrow filled her head. a wicked smile decorated her lips."here it is that smile you always wanted! why don't you just take my life away as you did with my brother!!" she just stood there and screamed for what seemed like an eternity but nothing happened. sniffles escaped as she walked her feet leading her to a train that was stranded beside the rails. The trees around it protecting it from the outside world. if it would have been day she would have seen the huge train graveyard behind it but her eyes red and stinging from all the crying made it impossible for her to see clearly. She didn't have the power in her mind to check if the entrance was locked or not and just sat down with her back to the stranded train. in some way she could feel sympathy with the train, they were both stranded beings no one caring if they didn't come on the right track ever again, and with that the little broken girl entered a deep slumber.

the night passed and the owner of the stranded train returned from his nightly adventures around the city. his backpack filled with spraypaint and clothes stained by the color. the boy was just about to open the door when he saw a human being sleeping againts his property. in confusion the boy squatted down in front of the human being and removed the cap from it's head. the cap reveald long brown hair and the human being that slept there was a girl. a very familiar looking girl. the boy shaked the girl's shoulders to tell her to get the hell out of here, but when the girl opened her eyes all those thoughts were thrown in the sea. the girl squinted at him as to trying to get used to the morning light or to discover who it was that had waken her up. "oh, good morning!" silence followed "tak! isn't it you tak?" the boy didn't get to answer before the girl started to speak again "well i didn't know that you also were dead tak haejin, want a baguette?wait.. am i dead?" haejin didn't really know what to. should he laugh at his long lost friend or should he cry for seeing her after such a long time. "Nabi no you're not dead, hey don't go to sleep again" The boy shook the girl's shoulders and took a hold of her face to try to keep her awake only to realise how cold she was. "ing hell Nabi, you're freezing" dragging in the girl's arms to make her stand up and then supported her weight on his own. carefully dragging her into the train to try to get her warm agian. with the plasticbag with baguettes in it, still in the girl's hand.

Chapter 7: This was pretty good! It's great to see more development of Nabi's character through her personal struggle. As well as showing the effect of the exposure to her parent's environment and how much that's taken a toll on her as a person. You see just feel like life is hell. Even so far as to assume she's dead when she wakes up. It was an overall great chapter and the plot is obviously there. I can't wait to see the group dynamics especially after so much time has passed. But I also can't wait to see more character development not only individually but as a group. I also what to see the overall evolution they have as friends. To actually be happy past the bitterness and sadness that is life. To actually find something to live for and bind them together forever as friends. It was also great to see Tak appear. Tbh I didn't expect to see him as the first character introduced but it was a pleasant surprise.

Anyway I apologize for not commenting/reviewing earlier it's just I ended up going overseas for my birthday for quite awhile. But anyway you did great on this chapter. I honestly can't wait to see more. Whether it be introductions, development or plot because you got something in your writing and it's great.

Chapter 7: Nabi! Poor girl, I just want to give her a huge hug. I really loved the chapter and the ending. I can't wait to read the next ones!

If you were to ask Minah who her favourite fairytale character used to be, Minah would have said Wendy. She dosen't fully remeber the story if Peter Pan but she always wanted someone who could show her a beautiful life , someone who could take her away and make her forget all the hassles of life and make her feel extremely happy. But if you were to ask her now, she would probably just ignore you and say something about how fairytale are meant for little kids so why would she like them?

As for my favourite fairytale character... it's too hard to pick one. I always really loved Beauty and the Beast growing up so probably Chip!

Chapter 7: all while reading this chapter, i kept praying for nabi. she seemed so weak and frail, and it's very dangerous to be in a big city like seoul on her own ㅠㅠ like, people are bound to take advantage on her.

I REALLY LIKE THE WHOLE PARAGRAPH ON WHERE NABI STARTED SHOUTING. ok, idk, she was wishing on her death but that part really gets to me. ;;; AND OMG HAHA KWAK INNA + COFFEE = TRUE. i laughed so hard and then felt like crying bc.. the current inna probably won't write that stuffs up again.

anyways!! this chapter is AWESOME as hell, and i really like the way you write and haejin, many thanks for finding our nabi. ;;

inna's favorite fairytale?? i think it would be the pied piper of hamelin???? the pied piper was betrayed, right?? of the villagers, so he ended up leading their kids somewhere else. in a way, he's like inna. she was betrayed, and so she leads everyone astray with their false impression of her.

mine? i like robin hood. i have 0 idea why i like fairytales with male as the lead, but hmm. robin hood is a cool guy -- he steals, but for a good reason. haha. aaa i guess that's that? ♡♡

this update was awesome ok rip

Chapter 7: Oh no poor Nabi D: I really feel for her, man this fic is gonna hurt me so much why did I do this to myself? (because I'm a er for emotional hurt, that's why). It's a good thing she found Haejin, he should help. I feel like he's the one who's got his together the most out of all of them, and considering he's homeless that's really quite telling.

Oh no you're gonna make us think xD As he is right now I think Junseo's favourite fairytale would be the Little Mermaid because it has a sense of escaping, but also the original fairytale doesn't end happy either and Junseo is in such a bad place right now that he would identify with that as well.

As for me, when I was little I really used to love the princess and the pea, though for the life of me I don't remember why xD

Chapter 6: can you hear hysterical screaming noises??

that's me. oh my god, i'm so happy to see inna being on the charas' page! i spent a lot of time on her app and she's a portrayal of me, so i'm really.. protective over her. ♡ thank you for choosing her, really!

also, the other characters seemed really awesome too. especially woori, like, she's intriguing! her description it a+. also! oh, my god.

the prologue is so cool! first of all, your writing style really suits this genre. aaa and you wrote inna perfectly well, don't worry about that and also, don't worry about not updating. i'm pretty busy, too, exams are coming up. (also, i love inna's interactions i could tell that you really pay attention to the way i wrote the interactions in my app!!)

: conclusion? i love this. so, so much. ㅠㅠ this gives me a k-drama feel, you know.

Chapter 6: I love it! ;¬; Can't say much about how you portrayed Woori considering she wasn't there (;P) but I love how Nabi referred to it as a "stupid church camp", that's definitely how I figured most of the group would view her devotion~ I really like all the characters though, it's so sad they're not going to see each other again for such a long time ;; This has definitely got me even more hype for the story though, I love your writing voice!
