humans are one of the most disgusting creatures that have wandered on this earth we call home. Killing the people they call comrades. stabbing eachother in the back when they came to trust the other. humans are afraid. afraid of getting killed. afraid of being different from the others. they are caged in their own thoughts and opinions. Because voicing your opinions may get you stuck in jail or in an insane asylum. but some people can open their locks on their cage. How they got the key is not the important  part. if they've stolen it, earned it, bought it or if they broke down the cage with force only. the interesting part is where they will go when they are free from their cage. will they kill themself in agony? Will they be to afraid to go out and retreat into the cage once again?

will they run as fast as their feet can bear them, not caring if their feet get bloody in the process?

"i'm off to work now nabi, be safe" safe. safe was something her mother always told her to be. As you can hurt yourself being stuck in an apartment on the fifth floor. What if she would jump of the balcony and try to fly like the small birds that jump from their homes? But the door there is probably locked as usual. Her mother wouldn't want her to get lively and do something stupid. like killing yourself.would she always be stuck in this universe? stuck with a stupid math problem that her private teacher tried to get in her skull. The older woman's words just floated around like clouds inside the dim lit room. Nabi saying that she wouldn't be able to consentrate when the false light of the old table lamp shined on her. the girl's eyes were no longer consentrating on the checked paper with what seemed like her teacher's desperate attempt to get her interseted in the subject. which seemed like a failure. the student's eyes were now focusing on the birds that flew around outside. not having any care in the world. how nice she thought. just flying around not giving a about anyone else than your friends. the older woman with a few wrinkles that decorated her face stood up with a sigh. "if you're not wanting to learn, why should i teach you?" the teacher looked at her student with tired eyes and the student just glared back "because you get a load of money from my pears" The girl stood up and walked over to her bed just to throw herself at it.

Jungok couldn't stand the ungrateful kid anymore walked with heavy steps to the front door to go her way and surely never come back again. It usually were like this nabi would get her teachers annoyed for not wanting to learn or even making an effort. They would walk their way and nabi's parents would bribe them with more money to make them come back. But jungok seemed like a stubborn woman in nabi's thoughts and she wouldn't come back that easily. When her teacher had left, nabi sprung up to her feet and went into the kitchen to get something to eat. she hadn't eaten since breakfast and it was already half past twelve. With a carrot in one hand and a juice box in the other the long haired girl walked back to her room to eat her very nutritious lunch. As if fate played a prank on her, when she opened the door to her room a frame came off from the wall, bounced on the bed and fell on the well carpeted floor. Nabi layed her "lunch" on the bedside table to pick up the brown and worn photoframe. Her eyes stung when she saw the picture. There were six people on the picture including herself. They were all smiling and having fun. Questions filled the girl's head. were they alright? are they happy? do they miss me? are they glad i'm gone?  A upset crow was heard from outside her window, almost taunting her.

that's it she would become a bird and fly as they do. Free and not giving a . Jongok did not usually lock the door but nabi's mother would always be there to lock it so it should have been unlocked at the moment. The girl became frantic all of a sudden. Running around for her phone, backpack, warm clothes, phone charger and some food. changing into a pair of comfortable jeans, a warm hoddie, running shoes, a jacket and a cap to top it all of. When she was packed and ready she glanced at her father's wallet that was laying on the kitchen table. all ready for her to use. with a deep breath she ran up to the kitchen table and snatched the wallet and put it in her pocket for safe keeping. hesistantly she twisted the doorknob and to her luck it opened. it was like her fear and need stopped her from taking a step further. a deep breath was heard.

then she ran down the stairs.
