Holding On - a KaiSoo fanfiction 

Kyungsoo has been waiting, and waiting, for Jongin to return for 364 days.

“I’ll be back in your arms by the end of the year, I promise.”

Those were Jongin’s last words to Kyungsoo before he left for the U.K on a business trip.

And since then, Kyungsoo has trusted Jongin… somewhat.

Kyungsoo always had his doubts, especially when he fell into despair and depression.

He would miss Jongin’s tender touches, Jongin’s killer kisses, Jongin’s gobsmacked gazes at him and only him, but most importantly, just Jongin. He missed his presence, his warmth, his scent, his smile, his laugh and even the little things he does – good or bad. The list seems never-ending.

However, Kyungsoo’s love for Jongin has mostly overpowered the doubts. Otherwise, Kyungsoo wouldn’t be staying in their house waiting for Jongin to walk in through the front door every, single night.

He was holding on to the promise that Jongin had made in January.

He was holding on to the trust they had that Jongin wouldn’t disappear.

He was holding on to their years of mutual and deep love that they always had.

But how much longer could Kyungsoo hold on to those things for?
