This is a story about the life of a boy who suffers from bipolar disorder. He copes with his inner angel and devil in his mind that controls his every decision. His life is far from normal, but he lives it anyways. Through his life’s many trials and tribulations, he wants to leave a message to everyone. And… he claims it’s way too complicated to say it in just one sentence so I shall let him tell all of you his story now.

Foreword
Hi, I’m Lu Han. I’m 18 this year and this is my final year in Dae Han Dduk Jeon High school. My life was pretty normal before I entered my second year, but we’ll get to that later. I wasn’t “Mr Perfect” model student, I wasn’t the genius, I wasn’t the popular pretty boy, I wasn’t the sporty jock, nor was I the delinquent. I was just an average student trying to get a good enough degree to get to Seoul’s top university.
I even had my whole life planned out… After I got into university, I would pursue a Medical Sciences course and go to 5 years of medicine school. Then, I would become a doctor that specialises in coronary treatment. My parents said that I would have to become a surgeon after being a doctor for another 5 years. When my career is stabilised, my parents will introduce me to a nice girl and I’ll get married to her and we’ll have two kids.
I was kind of looking forward to having a life that was set like a red carpet for me, but obviously, that was never how life worked. Nothing ever goes your way so damn well.
When I was 17, I realised I had bipolar disorder. My whole world fell apart and I was left to pick up the pieces by myself, I still am. Life became an utter mess, the future became bleak and there was no hope left. Then there were the illusions and the hallucinations that convinced me everything was going great when in fact, they were going terribly wrong.
I had soon lost who I was. And I thought I would soon lose my mind. Eventually, I thought I would lose my life too.
But I was wrong.

Author's Note: Hello everyone, I hope I was able to pique your interest with this foreword! Please subscribe to stay tuned for more chapter updates, as I'm planning this story to be a short chaptered type of story. Luhan's character and story is based on my drafted story called "Freak Alert" but I decided to write an exclusive story for Luhan, just because. <3 (he's my ultimate bias, so maybe that's why...)
