Foreword
The Fault In Our Fate
Sehun was told he’ll die by twenty, ever since he was a kid when he couldn't even comprehend what it meant.
Luhan doesn’t celebrate birthdays, because truthfully, celebrating your birth day is like saying 'yay, I've lost another year from my lifetime'.
‘Ten years’ is not that long; it really isn't, when you think about it again after the tenth year.
And fate was never in their favor; fate was never in anyone's favor.

Luhan was still gaping when Sehun stood up and tapped his index finger against his red nose. “So be nice to me while you still have me around. Who knows I might give all my fortune to you once I’m dead.”

“Now I ask you, hyung,” Sehun took a time to breathe normally, “are you up for that emptiness once I’m gone? Are you still going to read a book which you already know how the ending is? Are you still going to care for me like this, even if you already know my ending?”

By the age of nineteen, Luhan asked himself about his feelings for Sehun for the very first time.
=
=
“you mean so much to me, Sehun, but why… why can’t I mean so much to you as well?”

(The modified HunHan version of In Our Stars – and by modified, I mean, heavily modified; I’ve warned you)
(Has NOTHING to do with the story plot or concept of ‘The Fault In Our Stars’)
