Seunghyun set his glass of wine on the table and crossed his legs before picking up his phone.  Scrolling through his Insta account, the corners of his mouth perked up as he saw the posts from the Japan staff.  The pictures of the fans from the concert always made him smile, the Japanese fans truly taking their enthusiasm to the next level.  But the picture that really sparked his heart was the one of him and Daesung from the sendoff.  Between the official photoshoots and the fan pictures, so much of his life had been captured on film; still, he enjoyed some of the candid shots that caught the spontaneous moments.  This one was truly spur of the moment.

Somehow, Seunghyun had gotten cleaned up faster than normal and joined Daesung as the first of the members through the sendoff line.  Daesung was always quick to get ready, happy to shower first and have the trainers start the massage.  Seunghyun was the opposite, always taking his time, getting in a quick smoke and now, managing his Instagram account while he came down from the adrenaline high.  Today, because of the sendoff, Seunghyun was prodded a bit more by the staff so he ended up being second.  As they went down the line, smiling and waving at the fans, Seunghyun couldn’t help but notice how excited they were to see Daesung. 

Feeling a surge of affection towards Daesung, Seunghyun couldn’t help but rush ahead and hug him.  Throwing an arm around his shoulder wasn’t enough these days, Seunghyun had to wrap Daesung up, getting close his back, their heads resting together.  Daesung had laughed it off, freeing his hands so that he could still wave at the fans. 

Looking at the picture the staff posted, Seunghyun recalled the feeling.  He had loved it, the slight rise of his chest and the firmness of his arms, as if he were shielding Daesung from the fans, if he had his way, from the world.  Picking up his wine, he debated for a second putting it on his Insta, but he could predict the frenzy that would cause. Before he could finish the glass, he heard a knock on his door.

“Daesung?  What are you doing here?”

“You happy?” Daesung questioned, walking into the hotel room and turning around.
