Spoilers ahead! Not that the fic will get finished, but just a safe little precaution. These are the version 1 of the story profiles. I didn't get to writing out version 2 ones, but some of these things are outdated, and I will let you know what was changed! 

JUNHONG

     - it doesn’t really come naturally
     - it’s very hard for him
- he’s somewhat gifted in a way
     - a lot of things come easy to him
     - but also some don’t

backstory: his parents are DEAD
- parents died on his tenth birthday
     - was left home alone and received the bad news later
     - how did they die i still haven’t figured that out
- sent to a catholic school after his parents died
- graduated early and inherited all them dolla dolla bills
- tries to rekindle the magic from when he was young but can’t
is kind of really aimless
     - visits house, but doesn’t really take anything from it
     - finds the book but won’t open it
- thinks abt his old roommate a lot

YONGGUK

- likes treats and the pets ok
- very sweet to yongguk but also HUGE AND V PROTECTIVE

backstory: mom
- has black hair like daisy
- had a wonderful and sweet mother
     - herbalist/plant magic and
     - breathes life into plants and helps others with her herbs
     - everyone thinks she’s crazy but she’s just whimsical
     - very compassionate
- spell went wrong and mother goes comatose or smth. he mourns for awhile, but decides what he needs to do is move on and experience things bc that's what she would've wanted him to do.
- leaves her for the plants so they can take care of her
- goes to the academy in order to see what human education/what humans are like
     - grads early
     - is fond but also confused by them
- afterwards travels the world before settling at the shrine
- years later he meets junhong again

HIMCHAN

- protective magic
- protects himself from the outside

familiar: sabhya
- big lioness
- like a guard dog but a lion
- helps himchan with overstimulation
- good at sensing his emotions

area/where they live: family’s mansion
- ireland
     - small village w mansion far off on a hill
     - fog covers it (barely)
     - no tv, just a radio

backstory: lonely
- concealed his magic
     - parents weren’t really ok with magic
     - raised to fear it
     - levitation spells for cookies lmao
- would read from his mother’s spell books that were on the top shelf
     - he wasn’t supposed to be able to get him
     - gets punished if/when he’s caught
     - still does it though bc he wants to learn magic so bad
- sister becomes heir to family bc its a normal family
     - they leave him in the middle of the night
     - hears about it on the radio

DAEHYUN
Semper idem
Always the same thing.

magic: diviner
- can see/foretell the future
     - visions and dreams really vague
- junhong comes to him looking for secrets

familiar: rani
- chinkara (like an indian deer basically)
     - daehyun treats her like a queen
- makes her flower strings and decorates her
- loves her so much

area/where they live: small out of the way hut/shack
- india
- filled w potions and spellbooks and notes
- really old
     - peeling wallpaper and such
- one room
     - sleeps on a mat that rolls up when not in use
- lives outside a small village and acts as an oracle/potion maker
     - locals give him money and tokens of thanks

backstory:
- something happened to his mother that could have been prevented
     - assaulted ???
          - takes her own life
          - daehyun foresees all of it
- moved to India to further study magic and live as an oracle

YOUNGJAE
Vivos voco, mortuos plango
I call the living, I mourn the dead.

magic: traner/”alchemist”
- changes the bad conditions/heals
- usually focuses on dying plants/animals
- has been doing it since he was young
- experienced, but not in any sort of battle

familiar: trixie
- little bat
- loves fruit (esp pears and cherries) and scratches
- youngjae wears leather jackets so she can hang off of him
- hangs off of the shelves in youngjae’s bed
(edit: i actually took out trixie; she didn't fit right for the story, so i replaced her with a big black dog. she fit better for the scenario that we had thought up for youngjae and acted sort of as a healer for him)

area/where they live: some place in washington
- rains a lot (obviously)
     - isn’t always bright and sunny
- lives alone in an apartment
     - full of plants that he takes care of
- there’s people around him, but not many

backstory:
- lives with parents and is an only child
     - nice blue and white house on a hill
          - rich
     - plays pranks by changing things
          - harmless
- parents get divorced
     - tries his best to “fix”/change things
     - mother moves out (is a magician)
     - father is physically and emotionally abusive
          - won’t let him use magic

JONGUP
Timeo Danaos et dona ferentes
I fear Greeks even if they bring gifts.

magic: evoker
- specializes in pyromancy/fire magic
- very warm
- mostly knows defense, not really offense

familiar: kamilah
- red fox
- very sweet and gentle but also v protective
- big dog mom ok

area/where they live: canada
- small town
- wanted to get away, but still stay secluded
- can walk most places
(edit: I don't know why this is here exactly because he actually lives in a shack in the woods, but I'm sure the town is close...?)

backstory:
- orphan held prisoner and used for magic tricks/entertainment and money
     - does the tricks to “entertain that er”
     - misses his home (orphanage)
     - was sold in underground market for wizards (like black market but not)
- owned by a rich dude
     - lives in a big house/mansion
     - always performs in front of rich people
     - escapes
          - dude opens the door (mentioned selling him)
          - scared so he burns his owner and bails the out
