The alarm clock went off. Jai opened one of her eyes and looked at the clock. It said 5:31 am. She groaned, kicked the alarm clock off with her foot and turned over to wake up her sister, Kahni.

“Unnie, Unnie, its 5:30,” she said, nudging Kahni with her elbow.

“Uhn…mnm,” Kahni mumbled, burrowing deeper into the comforter.

“Unni, it’s your turn to get the boys ready,” Jai said, yawning.

“Mmhmm,” Kahni groaned, still not coming out from under the covers.

“Unnie, if the boys are late, Goon Oppa is going to mad and nobody wants to deal with him in the afternoon, let alone early in the morning,” Jai said, pulling the covers off her sister.

“Yaaaaah~,” Kahni grumbled, shivering from the sudden cool of the room.

“Get up,” Jai said, pushing Kahni towards the edge of the bed with her foot.

“Alright, alright, alright,” Kahni grumbled, sitting up, “Stop kicking me already.”

She sat on the edge of the bed, just staring into oblivion. The sun wasn’t even up yet. Kahni groaned.

“Jai~,” Kahni whined, laying back down on the bed, “Can you get them ready for me? Please? I’ll owe you one.”

“You owe me about five already, Unnie,” Jai said, face buried in a pillow, “So today, this one is all~you.”

Kahni made a face and sat back up, this time getting off the bed. She made her way through dark room, almost tripping on a stuff animal.

“Aish,” she said, picking up the animal and throwing towards the bed, hitting Jai.

“Ow~,” Jai whined.

“Mianhae,” Kahni replied.

Kahni walked down the dark hallway to the bathroom and snapped on the light, quickly shutting her eyes before the light hit them. She very carefully opened her eyes, letting them get adjusted to the brightness. She looked at herself in the mirror.

“Ew,” she said, closing her eyes again. She looked much older than her 34 years. Kahni quickly washed her face and brushed her teeth. Then she combed out her long hair and pulled it into a quick bun. She looked in the mirror again.

“Well, now I look about 50.”

She headed towards the kitchen and the light. She put some rice into the rice cooker, added some water, shut the lid and turned it on.

“Alright,” she stretched, “Now the real battle starts.”

She headed to the bedroom next to her’s and Jai’s. She opened the door and was greeted by a snore. She the light and looked down at the person sleeping in the bed.

“Seunghyunie~,” she said, bending down to shake the sleeping teenager.

Lee Seunghyun, known to most as Seungri, moved a little, but didn’t wake up.

“Seunghyunie, come on, sweetie, it’s time to get up.”

Seungri opened his eyes a little bit and peered through them at Kahni.

“Aniiiii~,” he groaned, turning over, “Still sleeeepyyyy~”

“I know you are,” Kahni said, pulling Seungri’s arm, sitting him up, “But it’s almost 6 and you need to get in the shower and get dressed so you can eat.”

Seungri poked his lip out and said, “I want my juice.”

Kahni sighed.

Seungri had a blue sippy cup which he would always drink juice out of, no matter where, no matter when. He said he used it because that way he could drink juice, doing whatever and it wouldn’t spill.

“After you take a shower, Noona will get you some juice, ok?”

Seungri just nodded. Kahni smiled and stood up. Seungri reached up his arms to her. Kahni rolled her eyes. This kid was such a baby a times. She bent down and picked him up, balanced him on one of her hips. Seungri yawned and rubbed his eyes.

Kahni placed a kiss on his cheek and said, “Noona’s going to go wake up your hyungs and you go take a shower.”

Seungri nodded and laid his head down on Kahni’s shoulder.

“Don’t you dare go back to sleep, Lee Seunghyun,” Kahni told him, carrying him out the room.

After she dropped Seungri off at the bathroom and made sure he was going to actually take a shower and not just fall back asleep, she headed to the third bedroom of the hostel.

This room had the rest of the boys sleeping in it: Choi Seunghyun (commonly known as T.O.P), Daseung, Jiyong and Youngbae. Kahni opened the door and smiled. Jiyong was on a matteress by himself, head turned towards the wall; Youngbae and Daesung were on another matteress together, cuddled up next to each other; and Seunghyun was on the only bed in the room, which was next to the other wall, buried deep inside the covers.

Kahni snapped on the lights and said, “Wake up, wake up, wake up~.”

Nobody moved.

Kahni moved over to Jiyong and pulled the covers but Jiyong had his hands holding onto it, knowing she was coming pull them off. 

“Jiyongie, get up,” Kahni said, smacking his thigh.

“Ani~,” Jiyong mumbled, flipping over.

“Now, Jiyong,” Kahni said, moving on to Daesung.

Daesung was probably the easiest of the four to wake up.

“Daesungie,” Kahni said, “Wake up, cutie.”

Daesung stretched, not opening his eyes, his shirt rising up a little as he did this. Kahni reached down to tickle his bare stomach. Daesung, who was very ticklish, quickly snapped his arms down to shield himself.

“Noona,” he smiled, “Hajima~, that tickles.”

Kahni kept tickling and said, “Jincha, Daesungie? It really tickles?”

Daesung squirmed, trying to move away from Kahni's tickle-attack.

“Yes, Noona, really! It tickles!,” Daesung said, now laughing.

Kahni stopped and said, “Get up Daesungie, Sey-Sey should be out of the shower by now.”

Daesung sat up and looked at Kahni with those sleepy smiling eyes of his. He’s such a cutie, Kahni thought. She pinched Daesung’s nose and then placed a kiss on it.

“Up, up, up,” she said, pulling Daesung up. Daesung stood up and headed towards the bathroom. Kahni moved onto Youngbae. His long hair was all over the place, mostly covering his face.

“Bae-Bae, wake up, Sweetie,” Kahni said, turning him over.

Youngbae continued to sleep, his chest gently going up and down. Kahni smiled and bent down to kiss his cheek. It felt really warm. Kahni frowned and reached up and touched Youngbae’s forehead. It was hot and sweaty.

“Uh oh,” she said, pulling Youngbae into a sitting position. Youngbae whined and tried to lay back down. When Kahni wouldn’t let him, he opened his eyes and said, “I don’t feel good, Noona, please let me lay back down. Please…”

“Awww, I know, Noona knows you don’t feel good. Come on, you can go lay down with Jai Noona,” Kahni said, picking Youngbae up.

Youngbae wrapped his arms around Kahni’s neck, his legs around her waist and laid his head on her shoulder. He was really burning up. Kahni carried him into her bedroom.

“Yah, Jai-ah, wake up,” Kahni said, laying Youngbae down on the bed.

“Wheeeyyyy?,” Jai groaned, turning over to look at Kahni.

“Because Youngbae is sick and I need you to keep an eye on him for me while I get the other four ready,” Kahni said, taking out a thermometer.

Jai quickly sat up and looked over at Youngbae, who was , his head spinning.

“Omo, my poor baby!,” Jai said, placing a kiss on Youngbae’s forehead, “He is burning up!”

“Mm, he probably just has a little fever. Here,” Kahni said, handing her sister the thermometer, “Take his temperature.”

Jai nodded and Kahni left to go wake the hardest one to wake: Choi Seunghyun. When she got back in the room, Jiyong was still sleep. All you could see was his apple hair sticking out from under the blanket. K
