A ring sound coming from the phone beside the bed on the top of the end table, the sleeping figure stirred and rub her eyes as she sit up to answer the phone call, she is aware that she is so she cover herself by the blanket as she lean on the head board of the bed then she press the answer to the phone

“Hello?” Tiffany husky voice said to the other line.

“Tiff, I need you to get your girlfriend on the phone.” A worried and full of anxiety voice said to Tiffany and Tiffany adjusted herself and she began to worry to.

“Y-Yuri, what time is it?” Tiffany asked because she don’t know what time is it and why would Yoona’s step sister, Yuri called in early morning.

“I need to talk to Yoona now. There’s some-“ Yuri said in impatient manner because she really needs to talk to Yoona but then the line of the phone was cut. And now Tiffany is worried she straighten up her sit

“Yuri? Yuri hello?” Tiffany tried to call the latter but only continuous beeps are coming from the other line. Then she put down the phone on the end table and she got up revealing her perfect curves of her body and she go to the dresser as she wear her white simple bra and , then she grab an over-size white sweaters and shorts and she bun her curly black hair and she get out to their bedroom.

“Where is Yoona?” Tiffany thought because she woke up without the presence of her girlfriend and as she recall they both made love just an hours ago and how the hell did she end up to their bedroom. Tiffany frown because she kept on thinking where did Yoona go.

“Where the hell did you go Yoona?” Tiffany thought and she became worried as she walk to their living room she saw the lights coming from the TV as she heard the TV are on

“Yoona?” Tiffany search Yoona to the living room but there is still no Yoona and the TV is on news

“It appears that what we initially reported as riots: seem to be somehow connected to the nationwide pandemic.” The reporter on the TV is broadcasting in live in front of a hospital building on fire

“Yoona where the heck are you?” Tiffany mumbled in worry and she sit to the sofa and watch the news on the TV which is in the city center of Seoul. Tiffany furrowed her eyebrows because that is just a few kilometres away from their house.

“We’ve received reports that victims afflicted with the infection show signs of increased aggression and-“The reporter continued as there is a police said

“We need to move everybody out of here now.. . . there is a gas leak” In a very strict tone

“Hey move!” the police said

“There’s some commotion coming from beh-“The reporter tried to report what is happening but she is cut by a police

“GET OUT OF HERE!” The police commanded to the public who is nearby to the vicinity.

“LADY! GET THE HELL OUTTA HERE RIGHT-“The police shouted to the reporter then a loud sound of explosion came from the TV and also to the left side of their house and Tiffany turn her head to the sound of the explosion and she saw a large fire outbreak on just a few kilometres away from their house she bolted up from her sit as she came near to the windows to check it. Tiffany is very worried to her girlfriend, then she tried to call Yoona and shoot she didn’t bring her phone. Tiffany is now pacing back and forth as she biting her nails,

“Yoona where are you?” Tiffany mumble and a tears came out from her eyes because she can’t do anything, she is too scared to go outside of their house and also she is dead worried to Yoona. And a sound of police siren just passed through their house, Tiffany is hugging herself as she is crying and walking around their living room to kitchen where the source of the ring tone of phone of Yoona indicating that she left her phone on the kitchen. Then she reach the kitchen’s counter and swipe the unlock screen of her phone, she saw 9 missed call. And a text messages from Yuri,

“Where the hell are you? Call me. . . . On my way.” Tiffany mumbled as she read the text message, and with that Tiffany cried because her girlfriend is missing and she don’t know what to do. And she grip Yoona’s phone and walk to the dining room and the sliding door open and Yoona quickly entered to the dining room and closed the sliding door, which Tiffany gasps and also relieve that Yoona is here now she quickly pounced a hug to Yoona and buried her face to the chest of the latter

“Y-Yoongie. . . B-Baby . . I-I . . I-I thought . . . th-“ Tiffany sob to the chest of Yoona, Yoona comforted her quickly and cut her and broke the hug

“Tiffany. Are you okay?” Yoona asked worriedly and she check Tiffany out and Tiffany is now confused,

“Y-Yeah.” Tiffany answered in confusion and Yoona wipe the tears remaining to her girlfriends cheeks. Then Yoona go to the head counter near the console table in their dining room searching for something and Tiffany is confused to Yoona’s action, she looks like anxious and scared but she composes herself to be strong. Tiffany walk closer to Yoona and she watch curiously what Yoona is searching.

“Has anyone come in here?” Yoona asked in hurried and worried tone while she continue to search something that she really needed.

“No. W-who would come in here?” Tiffany carefully asked to her girlfriend.

“Don’t go near the doors. Just . . . “ Yoona aggressively said to Tiffany, and Tiffany stop her tracks because she can’t understand a thing,

“Just . . . Just stay back there.” Yoona already found what she needed, a 9mm Pistol, as she loaded it with ammos and reloaded it. Then Tiffany saw Yoona with a gun on her hand, she widen her eyes and she is very scared now

“Y-Yoona . . w-why . . w-why you have a g-gun . . . y-you f-freaking me out. . . b-baby explain to m-me. . . w-what’s going on?” Tiffany slowly approached her girlfriend as her girlfriend get some ammos and put them on her pockets.

“It’s the Parks.” Yoona said and face her girlfriend and she is still gripping her handgun in her right hand, Tiffany touch her girlfriend’s left arm and caresses it as she carefully listen to her girlfriend,

“T-the Parks? What’s wrong with them?” Tiffany carefully asked and she just caresses her girlfriend

“Something’s not right with them.” Yoona said her eyes is now filled with fear and anxiety, Tiffany is shock and scared because it is her first time to saw Yoona at this kind of state, she is not herself, the HIM Yoona is gone for a moment because swear she saw Yoona’s hands trembling. Then Tiffany hold her hand and squeeze it, Tiffany is scared but her Yoona is scared also that is why she needs to be strong for her girlfriend to comfort the later.

“W-what-“ Tiffany anxiously asked but she was cut by a wild shout coming out side from the sliding door, they look what it is Tiffany widen her eyes and also Yoona as she pull Tiffany as her back side and shielding her as Yoona ready her gun. A man who is wildly shouting and smashing their glass sliding door.

“Jaebum!” Yoona shouted to the man. Tiffany is now scared because the man named Jaebum who is a co-worker of Yoona is acting weird and trying to get inside their house like a crazy man. His face has bruises and traces of blood, his eye colour are slightly lighten and his bloodshot eyes. Tiffany cried and gripping Yoona’s clothes,

“Y-Yoona?” Tiffany manage to asked Yoona, and

“Don’t worry baby, just stay behind me okay?” Yoona look over to her girlfriend who is now trembling and she flashed a smile trying to ease the anxiety of her girlfriend.

“Jaebum.” Yoona call the man who is wildly pouncing himself to the glass sliding door trying to break it and keep on screaming. Then the glass shattered as he entered the house and stumbled to the ground due to the large impact of his pounced. Then he is slowly getting up

“JAEBUM! JUST STAY BACK!” Yoona warned the man and they are slowly retreating away to the wild man, and the man suddenly turn his head and groaning to the two retreating person.

“JAEBUM! I AM WARNING YOU. .” Yoona shouted as she pointed her gun to the wild man and then the man run towards them as he if he wanted to eat these two.

“Oh my god. . .” Tiffany is now shocked and scared to the wild man that is now wildly running towards them.

“DON’T-!” Yoona shouted and she pull the trigger and she shot the man in his head causing the man fall to the ground lifeless. Tiffany squealed to the gun shot and the fact that Yoona killed the person? And she is now crying.

“Come on Tiffany. Let’s get out of here.” Yoona deeply mumbled as she grab the wrist of her girlfriend and getting away from the dining area where the man is lifelessly laying.

Then Yoona and Tiffany arrived to the living room, Yoona faced Tiffany who is crying and Yoona hug her girlfriend and comforting her

“shhh. . baby.” Yoona comforted her girlfriend and Tiffany is sobbing to her shoulder,

“Y-You . . You shot . . . h-him. . .” Tiffany said with her cracked voice and she hugged Yoona tightly.

“Fany . . baby.” Yoona broke the hug and cup the face of Tiffany and she wipe the non-stop tearing falling to her girlfriends eyes.

“I-I . . . I-I s-saw h-him. . . this m-morning-“ Tiffany said to her girlfriend still in her cracked voice

“Baby. . listen to me. . . there is something bad going on. . . . and we got to get out of here. Do you understand me?” Yoona looked to Tiffany’s eyes and she caresses her face and give her a peck in lips. Tiffany just nodded to her girlfriend. And the sound of an engine of a car coming outside in front of their house followed by a sound of horn.

“Yuri. . . . come on baby” Yoona mumbled and she wrap her arms around Tiffany as they stride towards to the front door. Then they saw a gray Nueva Mazda park in front of their porch. Then a woman with a dark completions came out to the car as she approach Yoona and Tiffany

“Where the hell you been? You have any idea what’s going on out there?” Yuri asked to Yoona and she followed them guide them to get in to the car.

“I got some notion.” Yoona said quietly and she open the back door for Tiffany and guided her in and closed the door as she open the passenger seat

“Holy ! You got blood all over you.” Yuri exclaimed to Yoona as she saw her gray v-neck t-shirt covered with some blood.

“It is not mine. Let’s just get away out of here” Yoona said as she seated to the passenger seat and close the door, followed by Yuri to the driver’s seat,

“They’re saying that half the people in the city have lost their minds.” Yuri explained to Yoona.

“Can we please go?” Yoona irritated-ly asked Yuri and Yuri started the engines and drive away to Yoona’s house. Tiffany is now spacing out most probably traumatize to what is happening.

“Some sort of parasite or something.” Yuri continued

“You gonna tell me what happened?” Yuri asked Yoona.

“Later.” Yoona said and she looked to the rear mirror to check her girlfriend she saw how Tiffany is now trembling in fear. Tiffany somehow relief because her girlfriend is comforting her, then Yoona turn around as she observe the surroundings, there are no people outside and Yuri turn on the radio. Then a series of sirens and the blinking lights of red and blue of the cap’s cars dominating the place. Then there is no signal in the radio,

“No cellphone, no radio. Yeah we’re doing great . . . minuets ago, newsrman wouldn’t shut up.” Yuri commented while she focused on the road.

“They say where to go?” Yoona asked Yuri while Tiffany is trying to listen at the back seat.
