“Stupid,” Min Yoongi scolded himself quietly. His head rested low. Of course, he belatedly realized that he’s indeed one stupid man, look what he just did.

Eunji had left. And although his vision was a bit blurred, he could see the fluids on the tip of her eyes nevertheless. And it’s because of him, of course. He’s almost sure Eunji was now crying as she walked down the stairs, and knowing her personality well, she might be trying her best so that nobody could see it. But he did, he saw it when it first fell on her cheek, and it hurt him.

It hurt him so bad that he could feel he’s trembling. It’s more painful than the headache he’s having right now.

Falling back to the bed, he closed his eyes tight and cradled his face with his palms. It’s a shame. His mother always raised him to be a good guy, to never hurt a woman, to always take care of the one he loves, and here he broke that very principal just because …

Because I love her?

His tears fell down his cheeks, like a complete loser.

Stupid bastard!

Now that he finally admitted it, he couldn’t help but imagining the damage he’ll cause to their friendship. He’s not supposed to love her, nor was her. This feeling was not supposed to happen. It hurt. It hurt him so bad.

You’re just a coward.

That’s true. That’s him. Rolling over, he admitted silently. He’s noting better than Daehyun. He’s no match for his best friend. Daehyun was so upfront with his feeling, unlike him who chose to hide under his sheet. Daehyun was what best for Eunji, she deserved someone like him, someone as strong as her, someone as brave as her.

If only he could turn back time…

And of course in time like this his headache got worse as if the pang on his chest wasn’t bad enough. His head felt like it could explode anytime. He deserved it, he believed. It might be his punishment for hurting her and running away.

Just when he’s about to get up to get water, Yoongi heard a sound of opened door. The sound was timid and hesitant, he could feel. Strange. And when he looked up, he forgot he just needed water a second ago.

Once the car moved, Daehyun couldn't help but cursed. "I cannot believe you once fell for that kind of loser." He commented harshly.

His anger was almost at the limit. If only he wasn't wearing a suit, he might have broken Baekhyun's ribcage. He promised he'll do it if he ever saw that guy again.

Yoon Bomi was perfection, everyone knew. But not for Daehyun, she might be perfect with all her outstanding achievement, but not for this one. Daehyun once, and still, considered her as a total fool for falling for someone awful named Byun Baekhyun.

"Didn't we warn you many times how self-centered he was? And still, I can see. Always full of himself, a worthless piece of .”

“Let’s not talk about him, I feel tired,” she quietly dodged, locking eyes onto the city night view outside the window.

Byun Baekhyun was a failure on her clean rapport. She herself knew. She couldn’t believe even until now she’s still affected by him. The pain lingered. This fact alone only brought her disgust. If only she could argue and take control of her own feeling. It wouldn’t leave this kind of scar.

That man hurt her, physically and mentally. Even the way he called her beautiful left uneasy feeling upon her chest. The memory returned, harsh and mocking.

Leaning back, she tried to close her eyes. She wanted to forget this feeling. She felt disgust all over her body for recalling his voice so easy, as if every cell of her yearn for him, betraying her.

When will I win over him?

“… a psycho. He thought you nothing but one of his trophies, so that he could brag to everyone, so that he could show his dominance. How could you even fall for his trap?" Daehyun continued, didn’t even pay attention of how pale his best friend’s face right now.

No one could blame this guy. He loved his best friends, he wanted only best coming after them, including Bomi. The anger inside his body kept increasing, his face getting red as he recalled how Baekhyun used to treat his best friend. He always acted as if Bomi was a property, whose control was solely on him. And how foolish she was for working so hard to match his non-sense qualification.

Breathing in anger, Daehyun brought them to the side road. He couldn’t overcome the heat on his body, as if all part of them getting frustrated at the same time. And the image on Baekhyun’s smirk inside his head remained.

“!” he shouted in frustration.

Bomi slammed the car door as tears falling her checks. The pain on her chest was now doubled. She wished she could just disappear for now.

“Yoon Bomi, get back to the car!” Daehyun yelled and marched faster.

His hand was quick, grabbing her arm and pulled her towards him.

“I can’t believe,” he’s pissed again, or even more as he caught her crying, “you still can even cry for that piece of ?! For crying out loud, HE DOESN’T ING DESERVE IT!”

“I’M SORRY, OKAY?!” she shouted back, yanking her arm out of his grasp, “I’m sorry I’m weak, stupid, a fool you said. What can I do, tell me! It’s hard! He was everything to me, he gave me hope, he praised me, he’s proud of me. I thought we’re eternal–
