"How should I reply? How should I reply?" Jeonghan thought while pacing back and forth in his dorm. Seungcheol had asked him whether he wanted to volunteer at a pet shelter that was near the university. Jeonghan loved animals but he was hesitant to volunteer since he did not have much time due to the workload in university.

Taking a deep breath, Jeonghan started to type out his reply...

Meanwhile, Seungcheol stared at the phone in his hands. 

"What am I doing?!" Seungcheol yelled, "Ahh what am I doing?!" He tugged at his hair in frustration and sighed.

"Seriously Seungcheol, you're such a failure in romance." He muttered.

Seungcheol wanted to ask Jeonghan out again but of course, the boy was as shy as a hermit crab when it came to romance. Seungcheol shuddered as he recalled asking Jihoon out, then finding out that he was already dating a girl. It took Seungcheol long enough to figure out that Jihoon was straight, though he always thought Jihoon had a thing for him since they shared quite a bit of bromance. Guess it was just one-sided love, again. Past experiences traumatised Seungcheol and made him turn from confident to timid when it came to love.

Seungcheol buried his face in his Cony pillow and kicked his sheets. Just then, it dawned on Seungcheol...

"Does he like guys?" Seungcheol wondered.

"Ding!" The notification coming from Seungcheol's phone shook him out of his thoughts.

With sweaty palms, Seungcheol unlocked his phone to check Jeonghan's message. However, it was disappointingly from Jihoon, his roommate. 

Hey Seungcheol, can you pass my textbook to me? I left it on my table.

Seungcheol huffed in annoyance and typed a reply but little did he know, in his impatience, he clicked a new notification that popped up.

Go get it yourself you lazy .

Seungcheol smiled in satisfaction for standing up against his lazy roommate. Immediately, Seungcheol received a reply.

Okay...

Strange, Jihoon was never submissive like that. Seungcheol quickly sent a text back to him.

What's wrong with you? You'd usually put up a fight before giving in, right?

The recipient stayed silent for a while, then replied.

What exactly... Are you talking about?

Seungcheol shook his head and thought his roommate was playing dumb. Just then, he received another message from Jihoon.

Hey you bastard, are we even friends?

Seungcheol furrowed his eyebrows in confusion at the disappearance of their earlier texts on his phone screen. To his horror, Seungcheol realised that all along, he had been messaging someone else, thinking it was Jihoon. Seungcheol hastily checked who he had been texting all this time.

"Oh no..."

It was Jeonghan he had been texting all along. Seungcheol's grip on his phone loosened and it fell to the ground with a loud thud.

"Seungcheol, look at what you have done now!" Seungcheol exclaimed, exasperated at himself.

Many thoughts raced across Seungcheol's head. He thought about how Jeonghan would be upset at him and how he ruined Jeonghan's image of him.

Finally, Seungcheol plucked up some courage and picked up his phone to resolve the misunderstanding. He called Jeonghan.

"Hello?"
"... H-hello Seungcheol... Had I angered you earlier?" Jeonghan asked. The fear laced in his speech was evident. Jeonghan was scared of him.
"No silly, I was-"
"I'm sorry Seungcheol."
"Those texts weren't meant for-"

Jeonghan hung up on Seungcheol.

"Congratulations Seungcheol, you royally screwed up." Seungcheol muttered.

He knew that the only way he could get to Jeonghan was to give his explanation via text and he did. Seungcheol explained that the messages were not meant for Jeonghan but Jihoon and hoped that Jeonghan would be understanding and read his message.

Jeonghan on the other hand, was upset. He was not upset at Seungcheol but himself. Hugging his pillow tightly, Jeonghan began crying softly into it.

"What have I done wrong this time? I guess I really can't interact with humans."

The buzzing from Jeonghan's phone was ignored, as Jeonghan assumed that it was Seungcheol sending even more hurtful messages to him. Slowly, Jeonghan's eyelids grew heavy and he slipped into unconsciousness.

Jeonghan slept for the rest of the night, ignoring the incessant buzzing of his phone.

I'm so sorry for making this chapter so short! However, I wasn't sure how to continue without making it sound awkward because I was going to start a completely different segment after Jeonghan slept. Also, let's take a moment to imagine cute Jeonghan sleeping :3 I'm officially trash XD

I've finalised my bias groups also. They're all boy groups... But whatever :P I like Miss A, 4minute, sistar and EXID but not enough to stan them a lot.

1. BTS - Bias: V and Jin. The rest are bias wreckers :P

2. EXO (yes, after years of denial, I think I've officially become an EXO-L) - Bias: Layyyyyyyyy (Kai, Baekhyun and Chanyeol are the main bias wreckers)

3. SHINee - I have no bias because HOW DO YOU PICK??? They're all perfect gdi

As for seventeen, I need to hear their next comeback before officially adding them to the list ;) (hinting that they need a comeback ASAP)

Ok sorry for rambling... Also, I haven't been able to update because of commitments that I agreed to earlier TT However, chapter 8 will definitely be out before next week Monday and it'll definitely be longer than this chapter! Comment the groups you stan and your biases and I will check them out! (I'm curious to know hehe)
