Hey y'all!

Nash here! Fellow new jicheol shippers may not know who tf I am (lmao Nash, I bet no one even remember your very existence in the first place), but I'm the writer of Code of Love on AFF and AO3 (the story had been taken down entirely from AO3 though).

I've been MIA for the past few years due to real life commitments and even announced my departure from both Tumblr and Twitter— my fanfics included. So yeah, I just thought people are aware that Code of Love will never reach its conclusion.

However, I was surprised to know that a number of you have been asking me to finish the plot, or an update at the very least, especially on my AFF here, where I was flooded with comments of such. I was only made aware of this last Saturday when Suzy eventually cracked the vault open. 

To be very honest, Code of Love was supposed to be a 30 chaptered fic, with a sequel set in stone several years after the whole ordeal in CoL. Yes, I did plan a sequel. I don't know what was I thinking, when I couldn't even finish CoL lmao. I also had preplanned the general structure of the whole plot and even wrote half of the ending I was going for. Sadly, the ending never came.

I guess CoL has been put on hold for so long, huh? Well, I won't be returning to Twitter or Tumblr, given that social media is no longer my cup of tea. But the good news is: I'll be continuing CoL from where I left off years ago and will definitely wrap it up for good this time. Unfortunately, there won't be a sequel as I had planned, but at least you'll get the definite conclusion you've been waiting for.

Suzy will help me post and update the following chapters here Bless her kind heart for this. If many of you do want me to crosspost on AO3, I'll consider it, I guess? My old readers might even have forgotten this fanfic as it has been on complete stall for so long now, but do note that I might change the flow of plot to few chapters cause I myself am not happy with the direction it is heading.

To over 1000+ subscribers who are still subscribed to CoL here on AFF, I wanna thank you for sticking around for my lame fic. Also to those who commented, voted and tweeted, asking me to finish CoL (yeah, I've been lurking), thank you— I never had expected that there are still people who wanna read CoL.

To my old jicheol mutuals, you know who you are (Ennie, Ann, Lae, Eun etc— oh god sorry that I can't seem to pick out names rn ;;;), I've missed you. Thank you for spazzing over jicheol with me back then when there was hardly any jicheol content. I hope you girls are doing fine.

I shall post an update to CoL by end of this week. Thank you so much for sticking around. Please do keep supporting Code of Love.
