The plotline of Who Gets the Girl really follows its title- Who Gets the Girl? There are love triangles, squares, pentagons, hexagons, heptagons, octagons, and nonagons in this story. Sounds a little bit complicated right? Checkinyourbra does a great job of familiarizing us with the characters and their relationships with each other (which are very complicated), so that the reader is never left feeling confused or out-of-the-loop. Now, if you're not one for love triangles, trust me, I wasn't either, and still am not really a fan of those. The great thing about WGTG, though, is in this whirlwind of romance-related drama, there's also just Soshi high on crack, engaging in their usual antics, with much laughter following. WTGT is one of the most balanced stories that I've ever read, with just the right amount of everything that every reader will be satisfied.
Tha accomplishment of managing nine+ characters and all the baggage that comes along with them is no feat to be ignored either. Complementary with reading, there's a nice nifty character chart for nearly every chapter. By the end, you'll see a chaos of multicolored dashed- and dotted-lines in the character chart connecting nearly every single player in the 'Who Gets the Girl?' game, and you'll be completely in awe of how Checkinyourbra managed to pull all that off without leaving the reader in a pile of confused smithereens.
