Prologue

I was half asleep when I felt my breathing hitch
My breaths were getting shallower and shallower
I tried taking deep breaths but only to result the feeling of my chest crumbling and inner ribs being stepped on
My eyes that had shot open were now frantically looking round the room
I was paralysed. I couldn't move.
Was the death angel here? if so, I welcomed him with open arms....
But
I didn't see anything in the dim lighted room.
I felt my chest rise higher,
Was this death?
Was this the granting of my endless prayers to die? 
I smiled
It wasn't long till I fell into utter darkness with a slow breath escaping my lips...
