"Hey, play with me."

The boy who was currently on the ground looked up at Hyuk, squinting a bit due to the sun.

"Why should I? I don't even know you. My mom told me not to talk to strangers." He huffed as he turned back to his drawing in the sand.

Hyuk scowled, if this was how the kid was going to play, he'll play it like that too. Getting ready, he put out his pouting face and tried to think of sad things like the time his pet goldfish had died. He plopped down on the ground, started to sniffle and then cried.

Alarmed, the boy turned back around and saw that the other kid was crying. He wiped his hands on his shirt and wiped off the tears coming down from the other kid's eyes.

"Why are you crying?" He asked.

Hyuk looked up at the other boy with his round eyes that were filled with tears.

"I-I just wanted a friend to play with."

Feeling sad for the boy, Jaehwan decided that playing with him wouldn't be that bad.

"Aw, don't cry anymore. I'll play with you! Okay?"

Hyuk looked down to the sand and secretly smiled, his plan had worked! Looking back up, he nodded and smiled.

"What's your name?"

The other boy showed a cute smile and replied, "I'm Lee Jaehwan. I am 9 years old but I'm almost turning 10!"

Sanghyuk felt his eyes bulge out. This boy in front of him was older than him by two years?! He looked like he was younger than Hyuk himself. Nonetheless, Hyuk introduced himself in the same manner.

"My name is Han Sanghyuk but you can call me Hyukkie! I'm 7 years old so you're my hyung!"

Jaehwan smiled and ruffled his new dongsaeng's hair.

"So what do you want to play?"

Hongbin smiled and waved at Wonshik who was leaving.

"Bye Wonshik! See you at school!"

Once his friend disappeared from his sight, he turned to the playground to find his friend who he had originally came to the park with. As he made his way there and stretched his head out to try to find his friend, he realized that his friend had disappeared.

Beginning to feel frantic, Hongbin began to search around. If he didn't go home with hyuk, he'd get into a lot of trouble. He climbed on to the play structure to try to get a better view of the park and there, in the distance, he found two figures playing in the sand box. Squinting, Hongbin tried to focus on the taller one and decided to head there since it wouldn't hurt to try.

"Okay hyung, I'll be the husband and you be the wife."

"What? Why?" Whined the shorter boy.

"Because, I don't like to cook, so you have to do it."

The older boy glared at the younger. That explanation didn't mean that the cooking had to be passed onto him.

Tears started to well up in Hyuk's eyes. "Please hyung?"

Jaehwan's eyes widened, how could this boy quickly produce tears like that.

"Fine." He couldn't help but give in to the younger one.

So much for trying to choose his own role for playing family.

"YAY!"

After hearing the older's approval, Sanghyuk jumped up and hugged the older boy. Although they had just met, Hyuk felt some type of attachment to him. No one had ever given in to him whenever he asked for something, not even Hongbin. Just thinking of Hongbin made an instant frown appear on his face.

"Yah, I'll do the cooking, don't be sad. I'll make you good food!" Jaehwan reassured thinking that the younger boy was sad because of him.

Hyuk smiled. 

"Okay hyung. First, I'll walk in and then you have to say 'yeobo, come eat!' and then after we will eat together. Got it?"

Jaehwan nodded.

Sanghyuk walked out of the sand box area and waited for Jaehwan to give him his cue. Once he saw the okay sign, he walked in.

As soon as Hyuk walked in, Jaehwan called him.

"Yeobo, come eat! I made rice balls!"

The rice balls were good, well as good as sand rice balls tasted.

"Yum! Yeobo, you made really yummy food."

After hearing that compliment, Jaehwan couldn't help but blush. Hyuk was the first person to compliment his non-exsistent cooking skills. His mother always just told him to throw his mud pies back outside because it would dirty the house.

While Jaehwan was looking down at the sand, Sanghyuk turned and looked at the sun. It was almost going to set and he had promised Hongbin's mom that he'd come back with Hongbin when the sun set. He was going to have to find Hongbin and who would know how long that would take.

"Hyung! Thank you for playing with me but I have to go and find my friend now. Bye-bye!" He gave his hyung a hug and was about to depart when a tug made him turn back around to face the other.

"What, hyu-"

Sanghyuk was cut off by little lips pressing against his. Although it was just an innocent peck, Sanghyuk thinks that his heart may have fluttered a bit.

As Hongbin made his way to the sand area, he saw that the two kids from before were still there. He quickened his pace to make sure that he would arrive there before they both leave. If that happened, it would be bad, especially if one of the boys could be his Hyukkie.

About two metres later, Hongbin was close enough to see the faces and found that Hyuk was indeed the taller boy he had spotted back on the play structure but he couldn't recognize the other one. He was about to call out to Hyuk when he saw that the younger boy was going to walk off in the opposite direction but when the stranger pulled Hyuk back, he stopped.

Hongbin watched as the stranger tip-toed up and pressed his face against Hyuk's. Hongbin couldn't see exactly what they were doing but he had an idea.

Fuming, he raced up to them and pulled Hyuk away before pushing the other boy to the ground.

"Hey! Who are you? Don't touch him!"

Jaehwan, who had tears welling up in his eyes due to the impact of being pushed onto the ground, stuttered.

"I-I just.. I just wanted to say goodbye to Hyukkie."

"Hyukkie? Hyukkie!" Hongbin scoffed, "Well I see that you don't say goodbye like a normal person."

Sanghyuk, who just got over the shock, gasped and pushed Hongbin away from terrorizing his new hyung.

"Stop it! You can't just push Jaehwannie hyung like that! I didn't know that you were so mean Binnie hyung."

Hongbin rolled his eyes, now that kid had his Hyukkie taking his side. "Whatever. Just hurry and lets go home."

Hongbin then walked away and gave them space to talk since he have had enough of the other boy.

While Hongbin walked away, Hyuk held a hand out to help Jaehwan up. He then brushed the sand away from Jaehwan's arms.

"I'm sorry hyung, I didn't know that he would do that."

Jaehwan accepted the apology, "It's okay, I'm also sorry that I kissed you."

"Dont worry about that, hyung. Well, I have to go home now and I think you do too. Maybe we will see each other again."

"Yeah, maybe we will. Come play here again Hyukkie."

More Hyuken rather than Hyukbin.. WHOOPS >.<
