The Merman
Description
Zhang Yixing was the best looking merman to ever lived the sea. He knew it, his father knew it, his brothers knew it, his admirers more than knew it. He was desired by many, but Yixing's only interest was exploring the vast ocean, until one day he wandered off too far from where he should be, and discovered that life under water wasn't the only life on this planet.
Foreword
Yixing stared, his eyes flickering from his beautiful golden tail to that of the mystical creature's stick looking ones. He could see from where he was under water that the creature was female, and that was where the resemblance between his kind and hers ended. She seemed to have no fins, and from what he noticed, she had no scales either. The sensible voice in him was urging him to swim away, (she could be dangerous. Her diet may consists of mermen), but he could barely move. Not when she looked so forlorn, so lonely that Yixing was struck with the thought of wanting to wrap his arms around her, if he could ever breathe out of water that is, or better yet, if she could breathe under water.
Inspired by the mermaid story, and also because I'm currently on vacation at a water chalet so yeah. Haha. Hope you guys like it!
