( 5 years later)

“What the hell do you do all day sitting at your desk?” Summer asked me with the usual irritated look on her face.

I looked at her and stuck my tongue out and switched my computer off.

“Why do I even bother?” She rolled her eyes giving me the usual pissed off face.

“I have a surprise” I said as I hugged her tight and led her to the desk.

She turned to look at me with eyes filled with uncertainty “Oh No! Not a surprise” She said as I saw the fear in her eyes grow and it was my time to get pissed off

“Relax”

“The last time you wanted to surprise me we ended up freezing out in the cold” she said as i got more irritated with that scared look on her face.

“It’s gonna be alright this time. I am not gonna make us do anything weird.” I side-hugged her “All I did is this.” I said as I placed a white envelope on her hand.

“What is it?” She asked and i indicated her to open it and watched the look on her face which clearly stated that she was about to scream any minute and placed a hand on just in time.

“You did not” She said slapping my hand off and gasped so loud that i thought she might choke on her own spit.

“We haven’t been out for a while.” I said and went to the table to make us coffee knowing what her obvious answer would be. “So what do you think?”

I turned back and was embraced by that overly excited person so tight that i thought my breath was about to escape my lungs once and for all.

I pinched her so that she would let me go. “ I am going to file an attempt to murder case the next time you do that.” I said as i inhaled a long breath.

“What did you expect me to do? You just gave me the best gift and planned on going off without a hug?” She said as she held the tickets to Korea right in front of my face and stepped forward to hug me again.

“Woh! Lady! Don’t you dare. I meant it when i said i would file a case” I said as I stepped back protecting myself from the soul ripping hug.

“You are such a mood spoiler” She said as she turned around with a smile and jumped on the couch still holding the tickets.

I couldn’t help but smile at the genuine smile she wore on her face and stepped forward to sit on the couch opposite to hers.

“When do we leave?” She asked as she placed the tickets on the table.

“The day after tomorrow” I said to her and she looked at me with a smile

“Are you sure?” she asked looking me in the eye with a half smile and i knew what she meant.

“I Am” i tried to assure her but i knew she understood me better than that.

“Really?” She scoffed

“Its high time I stop dwelling on my past don’t you think?”

“And Summer Shall Help” She said as she plunged onto me with a raised hand and I couldn’t help but hug her.
