Taeyeon’s not sure when it starts. (Inspired by TaengSic's /fight/ in real life.)
The thing is, you don’t realize when you first fell for her.
Xiening keeps a diary.
For dee's prompt "AU where Jessica plays Taeyeon's love interest in an MV and Jessica has no idea who Kim Taeyeon is, it's just a job."
When Taeyeon is told that she’s going to have a female love interest in her music video, she may or may not immediately embrace the idea. When Taeyeon is told that said female love interest is going to be played by Jessica Jung, she may or may not quietly but completely freak out.
If this is some weird alternate universe instead of a dream, then – what happened to this Jessica? What if she woke up in Jessica’s life, the one without Girls’ Generation, without Taeyeon?
“Look,” Yerin stage whispers. “Taeyeon sunbaenim is staring at you.”
“Did Yerin unnie treat you well in Europe?” Eunha asks her when they’re filming for V App.
“Hi, Jessi!” Tiffany’s smile is almost hard to look at. It’s just so…bright. Tiffany’s just so bright. It makes Jessica wants to cover her eyes but peek through the gaps between her fingers. “It’s nice to meet you!” Or: the JeTi kidfic that wouldn’t leave me alone.
Yerin seems to take great enjoyment in how much she annoys Sinbi.
“You were,” Myungsoo starts, and doesn’t even know how to finish that sentence. He always has too many words he wants to use to describe Sungyeol and yet never enough at the same time.
Sooyoung and Yerim spend half the ride home after Weekly Idol teasing Wendy about her “unnie is delicious” slip of the tongue.
Taeyeon is obvious, and Jessica is oblivious. [Total fluff. AU, of course]
Wendy always seems to know what she’s thinking; knows to pass her water when she’s thirsty, sing her a lullaby when she’s tired, give her reassurance when she’s disillusioned. Wendy always seems to know her, and yet she feels like she barely knows Wendy at all sometimes.
Joohyun turns around so they’re facing each other, so she can look into Seungwan’s eyes instead of merely seeing her reflection in the mirror. They say that objects in a mirror are closer than they appear, but Seungwan can never be close enough for Joohyun.
“See, I woke up this morning and I found a guy in my bed,” Tiffany’s mouth decides to say, “and I was really freaked out. I didn’t know who he was, but then I saw him – her – and it’s Jessica.” She gives a nervous laugh. “Jessi turned into a guy somehow.”
There are two new girls this year. One is tall and round-cheeked and sweet-looking. The other one – from Canada, with her collection of instruments and powerhouse voice – won’t leave Irene alone.
“You—” Jessica hesitates. “I like your smile,” she says sincerely, if rather awkwardly, “but you’re not… Your smiles lately haven’t been real.”
After Kim Chang Ryul's radio, Irene and Wendy have a talk.
Taeyeon wishes she could stay here, beside Jessica, and even though her body is demanding more sleep, she would be happy to just look at Jessica for a little longer and lie here next to her, and it would be enough.
