I filmed a movie with Gong Yoo!!! (seriously, I'm not joking)

I kid you not, this is legit.

Today, on February 8th 2015, Gong Yoo filmed his upcoming movie here in Helsinki, Finland. And I was there with him. I literally participated in the movie. If you'll watch it when it's released (in September, I think), you will be able to see me cause I can guarantee, that they won't be able to edit me out.

Okay, so you may be wondering how I was able to land myself a role in a movie starring Gong Yoo. The truth is, I didn't. Yesterday, at about 10pm, I received a phone call from my friend. She wanted to know if I would be interested in participating in "some Korean movie filmed in Helsinki, as a background extra". At first I was very a bit suspicious but eventually, curiosity took the best of me and I ended up going. When I accepted the offer, I didn't know anything about the movie. Not the plot, cast or producer. Nothing. But the filming took place in the very heart of the city, so I figured that if something seemed off, running away would always be an option.

The hell did I want to run anywhere when I realized who the actor was. In the first scene, I was assigned a role as "the girl with the bicycle". My task was seemingly simple. Ride the bike right behind the two main actors. Thank god at this point I didn't know who that meant cause had I been aware of who was so painfully close to me, I would have fallen right off, on my face because the ground was covered in ice. That's Finnish winter for you. Riding a bike doesn't sound so simple anymore, does it?

So the park scene was filmed and I did quite well (didn't fall once!) considering that I was in charge of starting the scene. Everyone on set waited for me to get on my bike and start moving before the director called out "action". Around the third take, I finally looked at the main actor (had been too preoccupied with staying alive before that, you see). He was quite far at the moment but he looked soooo familiar. I kept telling myself that no, no, it's not him, you're being paranoid, delusional and all around ridiculous. There is no way it can be him. But when we wrapped up the scene, my best friend who was also participating, came to me and I asked her if she also thought it was him. She said yes.

From that moment on, I was shaking in my pants. They filmed some weird tram scene, which was a bit of a pain in the until I realized that he walked towards me in every single scene and I got a real nice good look at his physique ;) That took like 2,5 hours and I was about to pee in my pants cause I couldn't go to the bathroom in between takes. We did get about an hour for lunch break. Lunch was buffet style and free of charge in some Belgian restaurant. Yummyy ~^_^~ Then there were some more walking scenes in the city and we extras had to change our attire a bit for it not to be too obvious that it's the same people in the background in every scene. Then, the very last two takes were the ones that guaranteed I would show up in this movie. Cause if they want me out, they'll have to cut the entire scenes out. I was right beside the female lead, Jeon Do Yeon, in both of them and in the last one, I was actually walking right towards the camera. My face will show up. Oh. My. God.

This is crazy, so very crazy. Kyaaahahafkhakfabkfbakhbfheggffdf! I really don't know how I'm supposed to sit or stand or be. Tomorrow the crew will continue filming indoors and if and only if they call me tonight, I will participate again. I'm not having my hopes up too much, though. Most likely, I will not be needed. Anyways, today was an insane day. Gong Yoo is, if you didn't know, gorgeous and he really is charismatic in person. I was kind of giddy the entire time we were filming cause his presence was rather... substantial. Yeah...

That's my rambling for now, but if I by some miracle get a call in for tomorrow, I might do an update. Later I was told that the movie is about a man and a woman who both have autistic kids and they bring the kids to Finland for our education is great and end up falling in love. So it's an affair, forbidden love kind of thing. But really that shouldn't make a difference to you cause I'm in it damnit and that's a big enough reason for you to watch it ;D Please show lots of love and support, it's a movie that deals with very controversial and taboo topics so I'm sure it'll be great :)

Thank you for reading!

Update 9th February
