I filmed a movie with Gong Yoo Pt. 2 (still not joking)

I apologize for posting these kind of things that probably feel like someone rubbing their luck on your face but I'm really happy right now so bear with me...

Part 1

On Sunday, I worked as a background extra for a movie starring Gong Yoo. And today, on Monday, I went and continued my "job". Honestly, I was told on Sunday that if I wasn't called in for Monday, I wouldn't have to go but who cares about such minor details. I went anyways.

In the morning I had my Swedish lesson at 10 and afterwards I ate lunch with my best friend who also participated in the filming and we went to the filming venue together. We had been in the set for probably about 15 minutes, out of which 10 were used for bathroom (we had to line up) and 5 were used trying to find someone who could tell us what to do, when suddenly one of the Korean staff told us to walk out of the door 6 seconds behind the man in front of us. So instead of instructions on where to go, we were placed right in the middle of a scene the moment we arrived. That was pretty much the only outdoor scene me and my friend had aside from another one where I'm just walking aimlessly. And I don't know if that one went particularly well cause I was told to walk straight but then I ran out of space so I had to cross a street and that wasn't supposed to happen. Oh well.

Most of the filming took place inside, thank god, it was too cold yesterday. I thought that I wouldn't have much to do and I was just glad to get the chance to observe the filming but then the casting-representative or whatever pulled me and four others with her and took us to a cafeteria. She placed me at a table with some guy and we were told that "you're now on a date so just talk to one another". I'm not good at dating, let alone with someone that I've literally just met a minute ago but this time I thought I would be okay. Until I noticed that Gong Yoo would be sitting at the table right in front of me. Suddenly it was hard to find focus. He was constantly walking around me the room cause the staff was arranging the lighting and cameras and setting and I sat really upright and stiff cause I didn't know what to do with him so near. Then he started talking with the staff and the Korean-enthusiast inside me woke up and I in every word he said (without understanding much; like I said, his presence was rather distracting). When the filming finally started, this one, about 40 seconds long scene took 2 hours to film. I kid you not, it was painfully slow. And it had to be reshot twice because of me. Apparently me shaking my leg was causing some reflections somewhere. But I was nervous, what do you expect? (and by the way, my hair was awful)

After a short break the same scene was shot from a different angle and once again I'm sitting there stiffly with my horrible hairdo (cause I can't change it). That was a lot faster though and this time my friend Daphne also got to film the scene. She was positioned in a place that wasn't shot before. After that, my part was over and I was left standing awkwardly on the sidelines when some of my friends continued filming. I make it sound like I was a significant part of the movie... Seriously, if you didn't know that I was there, you would neever notice me XD Even now you may not and quite frankly, you probably won't notice me. But I will and it's a big thing for me so pardon the fangirling.

During our spare time (which we had a lot), I talked to one of the Korean staffs. She was so nice and just a year older than me so we actually exchanged kakaotalks and all that good stuff. It was really nice to get to talk in Korean for the first time in forever. I'm not very good but she helped me out a lot and her English is great so there was no problem with the communication.

Wait a second though, cause the best part of my day is yet to come. So I'm standing there, doing nothing with Daphne, cause there is nothing to do but we can't leave either, when I notice Gong Yoo sitting nearby us, alone. No manager. Daphne sees this, too and I'm thinking to myself "this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and you will never get another one so get a move you lousy "... but I can't do it. I'm too scared. Thankfully, although I may be a coward, Daphne is not one and she keeps pestering me to go with her and eventually I give up and my heart is pounding against my ribcage so hard it effin' hurts and my hands and legs are shaking but I walk up to him and with my pathetic Korean, stutter out a "can I take a picture with you?". And he says yes. That's a conversation right there, ladies and gentlemen! We take the picture and it comes out all blurry cause my hand is shaking and I'm sure he can see it, too, but whatever, cause I'm gone really quickly and I can't even look at him again and OH MY GOD I HAVE A PICTURE WITH HIM!!! (I must be so irritating with all this hyping)

Okay, I know what you want to know. Detail. Right. He is handsome, really handsome. He is also kind of intimidating. But the main thing that I remember is that he is tall. Like actually tall. I don't even need to add a "quite" in front of that. I'm 175cm and I was wearing slight heels yet he was still significantly taller than me. Granted, he might've been wearing insoles but tall, still tall. Aaaand... that's all, I think. Well, I do want to mention the main actress, Jeon Do Yeon. I didn't know her beforehand so I wasn't hyped up or anything but based on what I observed, she was very friendly and very pretty. I don't really know much about her but she seemed nice ;) (I am aware that she is very successul and popular, I'm just personally not familiar with her work)

The movie is called "A Man and a Woman" and I think it's scheduled to come out in September but don't quote me on that. I'm still debating on whether I should post the picture that I got here or not. I've sort of decided that I wouldn't put my pictures here but the occasion is kind of special (at least to me) so I'm not sure. That's it. I'm gonna go sleep now.

Thank you for reading!

You can just post the picture with a cute sticker to cover your face if you don't mind. At least you got a picture with him! I don't think I can even take a picture with steady hands when you're with someone like that! I'm happy (and quite jealous) of you~~
It's a good memory to have ^_^
