( ❝ appearance ) : with a face crafted by the goddesses, a slim and proportioned body sculpted by the gods, it's hard to imagine that this woman would have any complexes with herself. and personally, she doesn't! she wouldn't wish for anything more or less of her physical appearance, as long as she keeps up on her health on her personal time.
ko sooah is blessed with long dark chocolate colored hair that surprizingly doesn't need much grooming in the mornings to look nice. messy, lightly straightend hair is a popular style for sooah. tries to create a different look in terms of makeup everyday, depending on her mood, ranging from a dark smoky eye and red lipstick for her "i feel like stepping on some boys today" look to an au'naturale for the more chill kinds of days. she has one regular piercing on each ear, and is practically unmarked besides common bruises on her knees from dance practices.

▽ mother + ko minsook + 45 + hairdresser + "i'm simutainiously the hottest and coolest mom in town." : kinda bossy, a little sassy, but 100% fabulous. it's real obvious where sooah got her looks and attitude from. this woman is the purest definition a diva. though the ko family isn't anywhere near wealthy standards, minsook sure likes to act like she is. perhaps the only lady with a bigger ego than sooah, and sooah looks up to her style of living more than anything, and minsook was the one that got her into makeup and beauty in the first place. though she is a bit blunt, assertive, and the more dominant "let's get the show on the road!" kind of person of the household, she loves her little family a lot and only tries to do things for the best of them. she is very encouraging of sooah's choice of becoming an idol and calls her often to check up.
▽ father + ko jungwoo + 48 + chef + "i am...the cook of the house. that's all i do." : jungwoo looks like a warm family man, right? well, he is! but the downside is that he doesn't show his love or expressions as much as he wants to, which is perhaps where sooah got her introverted side from the family. he is highly protective of sooah, not to an obsessive extent, but enough to tell his only daughter those "dad-lectures" about the rights and wrongs in life ever once in awhile. she knows her dad means well, but sooah simply doesn't want to listen sometimes. this had led to a growing father-daughter disconnection, and the gap has just been getting bigger since sooah left to become an idol. he rarely answers sooah's messages or calls anymore. jungwoo has always been this distant towards sooah, as far as she knew him. he always leaned away from making decisions for her, and more or less just watched his daughter grow up through the few hours he actually got to saw her after coming home from his late work schedule. truth is, jungwoo just wants the best for her, and is conflicted with worrying about being a bad father if he pushes to hard. he is a sensitive man... and sooah honestly wants to build a real relationship with him even after all these years, but they both just don't know where to begin.

▽ seo aerin + 20 + buisness college student + "the most glamourous power duo in all of korea!" : these two had an unlikely start to a beautiful friendship. both being queen bees in the beauty department since their toddler years, sooah and aerin met at a beauty pageant in seoul, both at age 6. aerin had more experience at the time, and with sooah's competitive mind, these little girls were tough competitors. they were put as finalists many times against each other, but never really had time to personally know the other. when sooah retired pageants at age 9, they were pulled from ever seeing each other again ... untill middle school approached two years later, and what do you know, they met again at same school! they became friends through similar classes and popular intrests: makeup, beauty, cats, singing, and the sorts. they never mentioned pageants until a few weeks into their friendship, and came as a surprize when they found out. they have both taken different roads in life now, but still keep in touch and support each other. aerin is the more outgoing and playful of the two, she often likes to try to get sooah's cutesy side out. they often gossip and do girly stuffs whenever they have time to visit the other, and their pageant story is still a fun topic to laugh and talk about today.

jung hanyoung + 22 + backup dancer under jyp + "who the hell does this crusty looking dancer boy think he is" : hanyoung has this 'i'm obviously flirting with you but you're choosing to ignore it but we both know you are obsessed with me' idea with sooah. he's always showing off in front of her with considerably ok pickup lines, and does these funky dance moves when approaching her - making sure she sees - as if he's one of those jungle birds that hop around to attract a mate. he's constantly teasing and embarassing her, trying his best to make her laugh or show emotion. sometimes she does break through, not from his self proclaimed "radiating charm", but while noticing how incredibly stupid he can be when trying to seduce her in the most weird ways. hanyoung enjoys watching sooah in the practice rooms whenever possible, and as much as she denies it, sooah gets a spark of excitement and encouragement to do a little better than usual when hanyoung is in the room. he was always the one there whenever things got bad for sooah, coming to each and every one of her hospital visists to comfort her. she sneaks into his practices and teases him back on occasion. "it's not because i like him, i'm just paying him back. for being the only one that's acutally helped me." sooah refuses all relationship rumors from her friends and other trainees, one thing is for sure according to sooah : hanyoung + sooah (hansoo..) will never become a thing.

▽ vocals : the mitochondria of the upcoming girl group! it's easy to say that sooah is a powerhouse when it comes to singing. a full and powerful yet controlled and slightly husky voice makes a perfect lead to a sick jazz number or hard-hitting ballad.
▽ modeling : honestly, how can you not appear on magazines and runways with such admirable face?
▽ acting : she loves to play the role of the antogonist, i mean if you can be that mysterious and sly in reality, why not get paid to pretend also?

▽ dance : she can follow along to simple moves and make it look good with practice, but don't expect her to be taking up an intensive hiphop dance solo anytime soon, she gets tired and lightheaded quicker than usual because of bronchitis.
▽ languages : sooah is the one to stand cluelessly in the back and nod and everything when someone else is speaking another language. she's also got a lisp when speaking languages other than korean, especially english, she's working on it though!
