masami really doesn't differ from her face claim that much. she does tend to have a fatter face than her face claim's, her cheeks giving her a slightly younger vibe than that of her face claim's. masami does tend to get freckles if she stands out in the sun too long, ones that can't easily be covered with makeup. her skin is slightly tan, though it's nothing outrageous she does tend to look pretty dark when standing next to more paler members. her brown hair falls over her forehead in lightly choppy bangs, falling down to her upperback. as far as tattoos go, masami doesn't have any. she does have her two earlobes pierced but doesn't plan on getting any more any time soon.

without the help of stylists, masami actually goes for a pretty casual look. she doesn't really have a difference in what she wears in and out of the dorms - opting for simple, comfortable oversized shirts and some shorts. she does her best to show off her legs the best she can, after all she does have a secret dream of getting taller one day. sweaters and layers are a girl's best friend, and if it's too hot for a sweater, one of the male member's shirts will have to do.

who exactly is kyo masami? the first time you'd see her, you wouldn't think much of her. she does have a kind aura that surrounds her, someone who you can easily trust and get along with. first impressions usually go well with masami. she isn't anxious about meeting new people and is usually the first one to strike up a conversation, she's very friendly and tries to include everyone into her group. there's always a smile on this girl's face, it's hard to see her without one. there's not a doubt that masami gets attached to people easily and hangs onto relationships for dear life. once you're in her life, there's no going back.

she knows how to crack a joke. masami personally hates awkward silence and tries to fill in the space with funny things that are happening (please note all of her jokes . like really bad. they're dad jokes but 1000000x worse.) masami does have a good sense of humor and can go along with a joke well, she's good at improv and always has a bounce in her step when she hears people laughing. she tries to make herself into a joyful person, someone that people will want to be around. she holds herself with a bit of confidence, which does make her come off as arrogant in certain situations. she can also be pretty childish at times, she tries to portray herself as a childish person to make her more relatable and joyful. though she does have her moments of responsiblity that shine through, it's usually underlying things that she takes care off. people tend to notice the childish side of her rather than her deep-rooted culpability. she doesn't really like showing off her responsible side so she tends to play it off with her humor. she can be absent-minded and forget things a lot, making her seem clumsy and awkward at times.

despite her coming off as very childish, she does come off as very motherly as well. that's one part of her personality she can't always cover up with bad jokes. she's always doting on her fellow members as if they were her own children. (she even refers to them as her kids most of the time.) she always tends to go out of her way to make sure that others are taken care of. she'll often neglect herself to make sure that her friends are alright. the little things she does tend to show everyone that she does really care about her bandmates. she would be a good social worker. but, she does trust people easily. this makes her easily manipluatable. she'll listen to whatever anyone says and has a horrible time picking between two parties.

even though she herself has lots of strong relationships, she gets jealous extremely easily. (" i knew it! that you were a jealous, clingy woman! ") she can be a bit obsessive at times, and soon to be stated in her relationship section, she gets extremely defensive when it comes to love. masami is pretty contridictory with herself on this part, her brain really doesn't have many brain cells. when she's sad or angry, which honestly isn't that rare, she might make one or two snipy comments and then isolate herself. she's never been a big person for fighting and most of the time does cry if she sees her friends argue with each other. she does hold a lot of responsiblity on her shoulders though she may not show it. she always feels responsible when her friends don't feel happy and in turn she ends up feeling horrible as well.

on stage, masami is all smiles and jokes, there isn't much of a difference from her real personality to her stage one. really, masami is a some-what simple girl who hides her deep burden of the world behind poorly excuted puns. even if she's extremely childish with her mocking and her teasing, she cares a lot about the people she's close to and is extremely protective over them. so, who is kyo masami? for lack of a better term, she's a piece of . (in a good way.)

"my life really isn't that interesting..."
born to a japanese mother and a korean father, kyo masami spent her early life living in japan. she lived in a nice neighborhood and as a child really had a lot of friends. her little brother in her life was a close figure when she was younger, she'd always pamper him as a child. her outlook on life really began to form as a child, learning from her father that every life had a purpose and it was her duty to look after the world. from a young age, she didn't really hav ethat much passion in singing or dancing - it wasn't until she was a preteen that she realized that singing brought her into a whole new world. life was just about perfect, except for the fact that her parents had gotten divorced. it was nothing that masami wasn't expecting, the two had fallen out of love but remained best friends. the seperation went fine, and kyo changju and his son were about to leave for korea when his daughter realized that she wanted to leave with him too, leaving her mother behind in japan.

living in korea really changed masami's life. as a thirteen year old, life was already hard enough. she was put inter an international school and took to learning korean very carefully. she did manage to make a few friends, and even formed a small garage band in their province. (of course, five girls screaming at the top of their lungs and cutting their skirts four inches too short didn't get much attention from anyone apart from their principal.) masami really did have a passion for music. thanks to her father's recommendation, masami auditioned at cube entertainment and was accepted. from then on she knew her life would never be the same.

▿ ( animal crossing ) she carries her 3ds around everywhere and during breaks you can usually find her huddled in her own personal corner playing new leaf. it's kind of cute bc she cares about her townspeople just as much as her own bandmembers.

trainee life — 
the cliche stories of trainee bulling were always fiction to masami. she made friends with the other international trainees of cube, though they don't talk much anymore. she felt at home in the training room, no matter how hard it was, no matter how stressed out she would get, she was following her passion and she loved it. though the instructors didn't like her caring methods and how she constantly cared for the other trainees, she was too valuable to kick out of their program. masami was the second mother to most of her fellow trainees, she would run out on practices to get people water, buy them expensive and unhealthy snacks after long days, she cared for everyone and anyone. the harsh words the instructors used to intimidate her didn't bother masami one bit. life was balanced between constant school work and constant training - she rarely visited her family during her trainee days. she couldn't let herself take any time off if she wanted to debut, whicih was contradictory to the way she pampered everyone else. things were stressful of course but masami never complained, she didn't think she had the right to.

the first fellow group member that masami had the pleasure of meeting - honestly, she didn't know what to think about them at first. their bad traits really left a big impression on her and it's a bit of an understatement to say that they really didn't meet eye to eye at first. their first conversation was choppy at best, they couldn't really find any similar interests which left for a lot of trailing sentences and forced laughter. their first meeting place was in fact of of the many training rooms that legendary used, meeting your love in a crammed, disgusting box of a room wasn't exactly ideal for masami, but at least she met someone, right?
