personality //
a dorky girl with two-left feet and the perseverance of a young toddler. namseon has a very kind-heart and is always looking out for her other members. this has lead her to become the mother of the group, a title she begrudgingly carries. even though she has no problems showing physical affection, telling someone that she cares about them is hard for her. thus, namseon expresses her feelings through jokes and humor. namseon has never been good at being serious, and has been called a 'child' leader many times. immature is almost an under exaggeration for her. she has no issues laughing at dirty jokes, saying childish things, or doing aegyo to get something she wants. she can be disrespectful without realizing it. she has never been good with honorifics and usually just calls people by name, which doesn't tend to get on her sunbae's good side. namseon also has a tendency to take control of everything, she can be very bossy and become critical and harsh without noticing.

born in a small jeolla county on an early october morning, ryu namseon was born into a very loving family. her early life was nothing to write home about. she was a normal young child, running around her backyard and pretending she was pororo, having tea parties with her stuffed animals every other tuesday. namseon was a naturally smart child. unlike her peers, she didn't have to study much and learning english came very easily to her. her father was the only doctor in town, so she would spend her days with her mother and younger brother. her life changed when her mother died during childbirth. namseon was ten years old. it was hard at first, but namseon learned how to deal with it. at a young age, she was the one who took care of her younger brothers. this would lead her to become very motherly, turning her into a girl who always took good care of her dongsaengs. when she turned fourteen, she was accepted into seoul foreign language high school. this meant leaving her life in jeolla for a whole new city experience. something she didn't know she was ready for.
while attending sflhs, namseon learned a lot. in her first year she was introduced to rap, and was thrown into seoul's underground hip-hop scene. in her second year she studied abroad in australia and learned that no, most of sydney's population was not just kangaroos. before she knew it, rap had become one of the most important factors in her life. she spent most of her time in clubs, thinking of beats and spitting lyrics from the top of her head rather than studying. thanks from a bit of influence from some of her closest friends (read: kim namjoon and shin donghyuk), she auditioned for big hit entertainment in order to further pursue her dreams. she was the first member to be added to je t'aime's lineup.

despite his chic appearance, namjoon is just about one of the weirdest people you could meet. he has all of the good traits of a leader and takes very good care of s. he can be a bit ignorant to others feelings, leaving him to seem a bit apathetic. despite this, he's very passionate and puts his heart in to everything he does.
how did you meet //
namjoon and namseon first met during namseon's high school career. at the time she was rapping underground while working on her studies. because they were both in the same community, they met through some mutual friends. they had a very awkward first meeting, and had bad impressions of each other at first.
how you act around each other //
these two bicker like an old married couple. they're known for teasing and making fun of each other. especially around their fellow members, the two always have som e sort of rivarly going on. in all honesty, the two ar e very close. namseon trusts namjoon with secrets she wouldn't even tell her father. namjoon lets namseon hear his most precious compisitions and songs before anyone else. the two are obviously in love, they just don't realize it yet.
