A very caustic girl with a pretty face, Aejung's middle name is practically cliche. Sarcasm drips off of her every word, her humor growing a little twisted thanks to her foreign cousins. She is humorous and tends to fit comedy in any situation she can. For being so young, she's a bit intimidating. Why, no one is quite sure, but she lets off a very powerful aura that all but demands respect. Aejung's always been a fairly dominant person. Though she's open to new ideas and styles, she steps up as a faux-leader in most situations and isn't afraid to show her face in the limelight. Most of her seniors regard this as very arrogant and disrespectful, but then again, Aejung doesn't really care what they think.
They say stupidity and courage run the same path, and with Aejung the phrase tends to be extremely accurate. She lacks something known as 'common sense', and though she is very brave she'll go to idiot measures to prove herself. Aejung is a very loyal young girl. Once you gain her trust, she'll go to hell and back to protect you. She's extremely independent and hot-tempered though, and fairly hard to get along with. She was three when her mother died, thus growing a small bond with her father and younger brother and in essense, becoming 'one of the guys'. Aejung was a major tomboy when she was younger. She was known for causing trouble wherever she went. During her summer vacations she would pack up her bags and travel to California to stay with her cousins for around three months. While there she studied English and dance, by the time she was fourteen she was able to spin on her head and join street dancers who would practice their art on empty sidewalks for some extra change.
With a cute pixie cut and a nose piercing, Aejung entered high school. She wasn't liked by very many of her teachers or peers and evolved to be independent with her studies. (Though she lacks self-restraint, she is clever.) She never stopped dancing, whether in America or at home, it being her favorite hobby and her best talent. She didn't get the nerve to audition for an entertainment company until she was sixteen, only after being scouted while she was streetdancing one afternoon. Though Aejung was scouted by one of SM's managers, she didn't pass the live audition. She gathered her spirits and tried again, at YG, JYP, Pledis; none of them accepted her either.
When she entered Cube, she expected another rejection. She was met with a callback date and applause.

TRAINEE BACKGROUND:
Training was one of the most challenging thing Aejung had to experience. Trudging home half-asleep at 3 in the morning through chilling dark alleys through backstreet Hongdae isn't very fun. Though the extent of her training was only about a year, Aejung progressed and got to be an amazing dancer and a great singer. The trainers and trainees regarded Aejung because of her skills. They didn't appriciate all of her personality, but they did respect her. That was something Aejung wasn't used to with her past teachers and peers. The regiments were rough but she never regretted joining and had more fun than she would ever admit.
LOVE INTEREST:

To keep things simple, Sungjae is the typical best friend. He's a dork in the best ways possible, he tends to be very funny with a joke always up his sleeve. He knows how to please people and is very altruistic. It's to the point where he almost ignores his own needs to satisfy those of others. His lighthearted nature can be distracting and a tad bit annoying; he's not very good at telling when he needs to stop joking.
Sungjae and Aejung first met when Aejung was still a trainee. BTOB was in to greet the companie's new trainees, and after a very awkward introduction, worked to hone their skills. Aejung didn't really care about Sungjae the first time she saw him, (she was too busy talking in English with Peniel), and to be frank didn't really regard him at all.
Their less-official meeting happened in Cube's main building. Aejung was supposed to be running papers from A Cube and Cube, and to keep things short, she accidentally hit Sungjae with a door and almost broke his nose. It was actually something they both laughed about, and Aejung happened to get Sungjae's number while directing him to the nearest Emergency Center.
Their relationship is a good one. Sungjae is the one person Aejung can never get mad at. He appreciates her crude humor and her loyalty, which is something Aejung is constantly grateful for. Something about them clicks, there's constant laughter when they're around each other. Their personalities clash in the best way possible, their best traits highlight each other. Aejung tends to be a much better person when she's around Sungjae, and Sungjae does things that benefit himself. He takes his place not only as Aejung's best friend, but her first real crush as well. (Aejung being herself, doesn't realize she's in love with the idiot yet. When she finds out, who knows what's going to happen.)
