no one will probably read this but I still wanted to do it because I can't keep these feels bottled up anymore asdhjggjh
besides reading fics I actually read quite a lot manga, and of course the genre is always or shounen-ai. anyways, I just wanted to rec some of my all time favorite mangas, so here they are~ (oh, and all of these continue, uh, dat booty. in other words if they were fanfics, they'd be rated M, keke)

1. Super Lovers [can be read here]
Status: ongoing
Genre: comedy, drama, romance (but I'd say fluff too keke)
Story line: haru meets his new adopted brother ren when the latter is eight years old, and he's immediately smitten by the boy. he quckly takes on the role of the responsible (well, most of the time) older brother, and from that point and on the story kicks off. this manga isn't finished but I read it all in one go - it's incredibly good, hearwarming, adorable and funny too, and although the big between them (but don't worry, ren gets older) I never get this ew no that's just wrong or this is way too unrealistic feel that I mostly do when the main couple are "brothers" of some form. their relationship is from the very start endearing to the point where I wouldn't even care if there were romantic feelings between them - this manga is so sweet that I would love it even if it wasn't a /shounen-ai manga.
this has to be my favorite manga of all times, because not only is the dynamic of the haru/ren couple hilarious and touching, but the story isn't at all cliche or overused like some manga (or any manga at all) tend to be. if you read a lot of like me, you get tired of the stereotypes after some time, but this is so refreshing and sweet!
really, a definite must read for all lovers out there uwu

2. Elektel Delusion [can be read here]
Status: ongoing
Genre: comedy, school life (and ohoho)
Story line: shunpei and fumi are best friends, and after fumi one day reveals that he's gay, shunpei's world is turned around.
if you're into , this fic is a must read lmao. the author (nekota yonezou) is one of my favorite author when it comes to ty mangas because she really doesn't stick to cliches and stereotypes - whenever I'm reading her work, I'm always like hmmm I wonder which one will top/bottom because unlike other manga, she likes to throw the roles around and make the seme or the uke (aka top or bottom) the person you least expect it to be. the same goes for this manga, which is my favorite manga out of all her works! the reason I love this so much is (besides the , keke) the pace and the different characters. shunpei is just so damn funny I must say ahaha. it's ty and cute at the same time because of their inexperience yet will to experiment, and seriously, if you like then ing read thissssss yo

3. Rutta to Kodama [can be read here]
Status: completed
Genre: romance, school life (fluffffffff)
Story line: Rutta changed from a delinquent to a nice guy because of Kodama, but he also changes Kodama's life by confessing to him. I've read a lot of school manga's out there, but this one has to be my favorite because it's so simple yet sweet (and ty too) and best of all - it doesn't contain all of that drama that usually makes me want to rip my hair out and scream just kiss already. it's sweet and romantic and ugh CUTEEEE but it still manages to not be boring, despite not containing lots and lots of drama. I like this fic the most because of their relationship - it's so cute and fresh and ohmygod they're perfect for each other. I especially loved this manga because of the ending; there are a lot of good mangas out there, but not everyone with such a perfect ending like this one uwu

so yeah those are my top three mangas ;w; I probably forgot some that I really like but, uh, yeah. I'm just gonna leave this blogpost here in case anyone ever is looking for some good manga to read and stumbles over this, hehe.
