hi! i don't know if anyone will find their way to this blogpost, but i wanted to leave it here just in case someone comes across my profile every now and then.

so. i don't know if anyone can remember me (maybe my username sounds familiar, but then again i don't know how many of the friends i had on here still frequent this site). anyhow, i joined this site in january of 2013. i was only 16 then, and deeply immersed in the shinee fandom and everything around it. i wrote shinee fanfics (specifically jongkey fanfics -- let the cat out of the bag was my first one, if that ring any bells?) and had a tumblr blog dedicated to them -- i've been listening to kpop for nearly a decade, yet i have never stanned a group as much as i stanned and loved shinee. i still love them, but as i've gotten older i've taken a step back and now listen to kpop in a more casual way; it's more about the music now and less about the fandom, the fanwars and fanfics. shinee will always have a special place in my heart though. the years i spent pouring my love into them will always be precious to me, and this site was for me a big part of those years.

i used to both read and write fanfics, but above all, i remembered how much i used to interact with other shinee and jongkey fans. i made some really good friends here, friends that i would talk to almost daily, but as i gradually stopped visiting the site, i also lost touch with a lot of you.
which is why i wanted to make this blogpost. when i think back on my years on AFF, i think back and miss all the people i used to talk to on here, so if you happen to come across this blogpost and want to catch up, please feel free to shoot me a PM ❤ i'm really curious to hear how you all are doing, if a lot has changed and if you still fangirl/write or read fanfics on here :)
